Not including New Orleans. I hear Charleston and Savannah are 2 of the best cities to visit in all of America. Any underrated places you can think of?

Charleston is my favorite. We often go to Charleston and Savanna on the same trip.

I'm thinking about doing that as well. From what I've heard I'm expecting those to be my favorite cities too.

The people in Charleston as such a turn off for me. It's a fun city, but the people there can be so pretentious and obnoxious.

I really like Memphis and Asheville. The people in both are more my speed. Laid back and good natured.

I also really like Lexington, KY. College campus, horse tracks and bourbon distilleries. Great people as well.

Charleston, Nashville, Savannah, Charlotte, Asheville, or the Triangle (Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill)

I like Charleston too but it can be so damn hot like New Orleans. LOVE Ashville and the surrounding areas.

Live near Nashville so definitely here and go visit Franklin.

I liked Asheville more than Charleston, mainly because of how hot and humid Charleston was to walk around in. Also liked the hiking options and the density of quality breweries.

The two are tough to compare.

I lived in Charleston (Summerville) for 8 years. Best place I've ever lived, even with obnoxious Clemson fans.

True, the reason I associate them is that they were two stops on the same trip.
