THREAD TITLE CORRECTION: Southern Caribbean cruise... Aruba, Curacao, and Bonaire
Kinnda piggy backing here on the other thread. We are leaving Friday on an 8 day to these islands, Adventure of the Seas. We have excursions planned out, but need shopping advice.
Specifically, looking to get a wedding band, single row of 5 or 6 small diamonds in the $900 range to match thebone she already has (she wants to sandwich the engagement ring). Where is going to be my best bet at finding this between these three islands?

Don't know about the others, but it probably won't be Bonaire. It is pretty much just a dive island. The main town where the ships dock is ok, with some good restaurants. But I haven't seen much in the way of high end shopping.
Edit: What do these islands have to do with the Bahamas?

I'm an idiot. Its Southern Caribbean. I got so excited when I realized there was a board for this I wasn't paying attention creating the thread.

Curaçao is where I’ve found the best shopping. Got a great deal on a Citizen watch there. Hit the beach in Aruba.
Book a Havana aft balcony. Totally worth the extra $$$ to have access to the private pool and bar.

The islands were all great in their own ways.
Aruba had the shittiest looking port, but for jewelry shopping it was unmatched. The Diamonds International thee
re was huge and amazing. Curacao was the most picturesque port city and had great overall shopping. It was our 10th anniversary and we bought the wife a diamond band at the Diamonds International there at what I perceive was a great price. Also for myself a Bulova Grammy Percisionist edition watch for several hundred off. I'm sure most of the OT will think it is shite, but I thought it was pretty unique. Long story short: shopping is great at both Curacao and Aruba, but for jewelry and watches Aruba had greater selection. DI at both islands have a exchange program so if you buy a ring at island 1 and then find one you like better at island 2, they will exchange it 100% for you. I dont think that applies to watches.
Shopping was shite on Bonaire, but it was the most natural and undisturbed island if the three. We did a catamaran and snorkel expedition there and the sights were just breathtaking.
Let me know if you have any specific questions and I'll answer as best as I can.
