Anyone else keep a list of places they want to visit

I keep a google sheets list of places I want to visit. Just have the states in one column and put places in the rows. Used to have a notebook but this way if I hear of a new spot I can add to list right then.
One of my goals is to backpack in every state. I don’t have a spot picked out in each state yet.
I may start an international list for future reference.

I have a scratch off world map hanging on the wall in my home office. It’s always fun to scratch off a new country.

I need to find a good US map to hang on the wall for the same thing.

I do. I’m a middle aged guy and I feel the clock ticking. So I’ve been taking one trip abroad for a decade. I’ve decided to up that to two trips per year ( one solo one with Mrs Pimp) and see the world. In November I’m going solo to Thailand for three weeks. In June we will go to Monte Carlo/ French Riviera. If not now, when ?

I've just started thinking about it.
I want to visit cebu and Belize. The eastern slopes of the Andes. Madagascar.
There are more wild places i'd like to see while traveling in a bullet proof hovercraft.
Ain't gonna happen.
Bouganville island and Papua.
New Guinea.

Yes, but it is more of a memory type of thing. Plus when I start seeing pictures from people on here it changes

I started a notebook when I couldn’t remember all the spots. Then went to google sheets to get more organized.
I see pictures and hear about mountains and small towns and make a note in case I get to visit.

Of course. I have an international and domestic list.
My goal is to visit every state at some point in my life, but the ones on the top of my list that I haven’t done are:
Alaska
Utah
Wyoming
Hawaii
Internationally, that’s a very long list. But Denmark and Ireland are high on my list.

I have a 14, 17 and 19 year old. And yeah, I’m extremely lucky. Honestly , I feel like a failure if I don’t travel. It’s more important to me than it is to most people. She gets that. So every year I’m going to do 2-3 weeks solo . And that will be my reward for grinding for the family so she can work out every day instead of working. Quid pro quo.

Gotcha, this makes sense and what I suspected.
We're expecting our first but the wife works way more/makes way more than myself but I'm the one with all the vacation time, so it's not as clean of a deal for me
I'm the same way. I cancelled my trip next month due to my travel buddy getting very seriously ill. Really bummed me out and I did not handle it well at all.
As for OP, no formal list though anything with great ancient sites is gonna reel me in. I've lately been saving posts on Instagram of cool places I see as a sort of index for countries I may visit so I remember to consider it at that time. Hope that works/people don't delete their account.
I have about 800k airline miles that need burning now.

How did you accumulate 800K airline miles?

I'm a bit of a credit card schemer. Applications and maximizing all bonus categories.

I have one that uses push pins and it's satisfying to add another each time.
As far as a future list, I don't have a physical list, but always have several in my head.
