Pisces has top tier boats and captains/crew. Redrum is a favorite on this board.
I fished with Picante earlier this year and they were a solid outfit. I will say, the conditions they fish in can be pretty gnarly. We were in their 45' boat and fished 8-10s INSIDE the peninsula. Be sure you take some Dramamine.

Not to derail, but...
Do you have some good recommendations there? It's been on my list for a while, but haven't done much research on it yet.
Casa Vieja is luxury and the costs reflect this.
I fish with Chris Starrs, blue bayou lodge. They have a good website. He has a 35 Bertram and a villa with pool, cook, and bartender. You fish the same area as the vieja boats and catch the same fish. they speak to the vieja boats about the bite and communicate location of the bite. I like it because i can afford to go every year and the service is great.

Casa Vieja
I've definitely followed them for a while. Seems like a solid operation.

This is the info that I was hoping for. I'll definitely look into them. Thanks.

If pure billfish numbers is what you are after
Not really interested in numbers but would like a decent shot at a Marlin. I am thinking Cabo so this thread is very helpful. My wife (no pics) is a teacher in one of the school districts in the H-town burbs and she gets a week for Fall Break in October. I have heard that is a pretty decent time to target Marlin in Cabo, but don't know that as a fact. Anybody confirm? This may be my best shot since I would probably hit the Powerball before I get on a billfish in Port A where I go out of here in Texas.

October is great in cabo. Check your dates first- the richest marlin tournament the bisbees is in october. That may not be a good time to fun fish but the rest of the month has awesome marlin fishing

If you are hell set on Mexico there’s nothing wrong with it, but for a senior trip and I don’t know who else is going as far as other family but I’d try and make it something more unique and memorable. Cabo is a weekend anytime trip with college buddies, wife, wife and kids, etc.
I’d consider a canoe trip in Canada, Alaska trip, Seattle houseboat trip, Guatemala, Brazil river fishing, etc. Great time to take a rare adventure trip of a lifetime.

Can’t confirm this 100%, but it’s worth mulling over. It’s for Cabo.

Thanks for that heads up. It actually starts the weekend I was thinking about going so I will either back up to the previous weekend or go Monday or Tuesday of that week since it says they don't register till that Thursday.

You are definitely making the right call if you're going down to fish.

Los Buzos Resort Panama
Los Buzos in Panama is a bucket list trip for me, some of my buddies went a year or two ago and had nothing but good things to say. One of them currently holds this IGFA All-Tackle Length record for Roosterfish from their trip down there.

Buddy of mine did his bachelor party at Islamorada in the Keys. Pretty damn good fishing there if you decide to stay in the USA.
