Any recommendations on places to stay in BSL and places to check out? We are being told there’s a couple bars/restaurants that have live bands.
Obvisouly being BSL we don’t expect it to be like Nashville but we enjoy drinks and live music so I figured we’d give it a try. Thanks

People have been suggesting to stay at The Pearl. I’ve never stayed there, but it looks nice

Stayed at The Pearl Sunday. Very nice 3 star type place. Was quiet, definitely recommend it as all the restaurants and bars are a minute or two walk. No frills, super clean and large rooms.

Was quiet,
Pearl isn’t too quiet on Friday and Saturday nights fwiw. Nothing unbearable but you can hear bands and such from the room. As long as you aren’t going to bed too early it’s fine
There are some nice BnBs with pools and golf carts etc, some for the price of The Pearl

Bacchus on the Beach in Pass Christian is certainly worth a visit for lunch…

Bay Town inn or the Pearl.
Dinner reservations at Sycamore House and Thorny Oyster.
Try to catch a show at 100 Men Hall.
Beers at Ugly Pirate. Trapanis bar for a poboy. 1/2 chicken at Murky Waters…

Second the Sycamore house. Also, can grab a decent cocktail at the Loft - quieter place if you want to get away from the crowd.

Probably should take his wife to Hen House for drinks as well.

Haven’t been over there. That by the train depot?

Went last year for my birthday. We stayed in a
very nice Air BnB house a couple of blocks from the most active area. Rented a golf cart to go to and fro. We drove up to Jourdan River Steamer in Kiln for dinner one night. Drank outside at Blind Tiger one afternoon. Breakfast at Mockingbird Cafe. There is pretty good shopping…we liked Sassy Bird, Social Chair and Century Hall. Dinner at the Thorny Oyster for my birthday. Overall a really good weekend trip. We may stay at the Pearl if we go again and want to be more in the middle of things. I want to try Sycamore House next trip.

With Barracuda and the new sushi joint opening, they’ll have some new food options in BSL later this year
