Whistler and Interior BC is where the snow is right now. Looking like that will continue for the next few weeks at least.

In CO, Im expecting a rough start that has a good Feb/March. Like right when Cuse gets to Summit its prob going to turn snowy.

I can tell yall Copper will open the 7th. Manmade crap but really down to the flats before the pipe is ready. Expecting a ribbon of death to open to the public.

Given the anticipated la Nina, PNW supposed to get hammered. I'd lean WA, ID, or OR for early season this year

Agreed.

I bought a place in Bend this past summer so I’ll be up on Mt. Bachelor a good bit this season.

The seven peaks are holding snow and the animals are stirring ‘round these parts. Winter is near.

I buy a big storm once this all breaks. We're getting snow in Canada. Staying warm in the Southwest. Good set up to get a more active jet by mid month.

I do think those of us in Utah, CO, and even NM will find the season backloaded.

basically Cuse will come to CO and we'll not stop getting snow

After last weekend when Bogus Basin got several inches and Sun Valley got 8-10 inches it hit 70 yesterday in Boise. While I'm happy to ride my bike without a jacket or vest I would like to ski this month and test out my new Atomic Hawx Ultra 120s

We're seeing that precipitation mid November too but it looks like it's on the edge of rain/snow here. They just installed a bunch of new snow guns at Bogus too but the temperature and humidity has to be right. The resorts in Colorado and Utah at higher elevations should be good, though. All the La Niña models that I've seen has a ribbon that shows above average cold/snow potential and below average cold/snow potential and southern Idaho is right in the middle...

First time to Wolf Creek mid-January, seasoned citizen skiers, staying in Pagosa Springs. How concerned should we be about negotiating the drive to the ski area? We’ll have a AWD vehicle and have some experience driving in the mountains (for flatlanders anyway.) Also any general tips appreciated for the WC skiing (solid blues) and stuff to do in Pagosa Springs.

Just arrived in Park City helping my son move here for the season. There is absolutely no snow anywhere but at the very top of the mountains. Uber driver said they stopped making snow because of how warm it is. My son will be a Ski lift Operator in Deer Valley. We're still having a good time though.

Yep. Last week totally sucked. 20 degrees above average temps. Should be some snow tonight in the higher elevations and good snowmaking weather next week. Hopefully everywhere is still on track for after Thanksgiving openings.

Probably the best snowpack in North America right now is at Banff, still terrian is limited obviously.

I've never skied there this early but I have been there four or five times. I kind of prefer Louise but at this time of year both are going to be similar. Bluebird is one of my favorite places to eat in town. The shuttle and transit system is great if you are staying in town.

Seems like it was too warm for the snow that is going through to do a whole lot sadly, looked like Alta got a few inches.
