Its a beautiful place to go. Go see Lake Louise (views are breathtaking), Lake Minnewanka. Walk the downtown of Banff. My favorite places to eat, The Grizzly House and Bluebird Steakhouse. Make sure you stop and purchase the National Park Permit pass driving in to Banff. If you miss it, they have a visitor center in town to purchase. Have fun.

Here to say thanks for the info Fargobison. The trip to Banff was awesome. They actually received quite a bit of snow before we arrive so skiing was great. We skied two days at Sunshine and one day at Ski Louise. Both places have several suns open. Bluebird steakhouse was really good. Another good spot the family an I enjoyed was The Grizzly House. We will definitely go back. Hope you enjoy it when you go. Thanks again.

My family and I are flying to Banff on the 22nd of November for a week. We have never been skiing in Canada before. My son is 17 and snowboards (intermediate),daughter is 15 (no pics intermediate) and wife and I (intermediate). Any tips or suggestions would be appreciated.
