I have a pair of Oyuki gloves. I really liked them until the end of last season. Once my hands got warm and damp, the soft liner would pull out. I would have to blow into the glove like I was blowing up a balloon to get the liner to reseat. They maybe had 50 days of use. They were cheaper than Hestras but they weren’t cheap.

Well day 1 was a fail. Solitude parking lot was full by 9 AM and the ski busses aren't running yet. Could've parked on the side of the road and walked a mile up hill but figured it wasn't worth it especially with having to fight the crowds. I'll come back Sunday and try to get here at the crack of dawn

Going to get a couple of hours in at Copper on Monday. Was over there today and damn happy with the snow for this early in November.

Yes. But Ikon only has 7 days at Brighton so I didn't want to spend one when there's only like 2 lifts open

Snake Creek and Explorer according to their website but I'm not sure how you get to snake creek without majestic being open

Now that I'm looking at it if Snake Creek is open it may be worth going tomorrow

It looks to me everything between the Super Bee and American Eagle will be open.

Other than that, we'll see. West side aint ready. Stuff off the Flyer doesnt have enough snow either.

Theyre making snow round the clock though with this cold snap at least.

Its going to be a shitshow starting Friday until the end of the month.

Im hoping the storm tomorrow night can get some more lifts open. Superbee looked reasonably close on Tuesday.

Keystone resort this Christmas

VRBO home for our kids, spouses, and grandkids. First time all together for Christmas in a decade or more. Very excited.

They got trails farther east marked off, so I think the Superbee might open this weekend. Especially if tonight's storm can over perform.

ETA: Superbee will be a few weeks. Its ready but ski teams will be using it. The Flyer opens today.

Theres been a lot of model weirdness in the early Dec timeframe but solutions are converging on a nice looking pattern starting around 11/29-11/30

Cross Polar flow in December. East Asian Mountain Torque decrease leading to that Alaskan ridge, for reasons I dont feel like explaining.

Sets up a troughing regime, for the first part of December at least, over the western United States.

Lots of rolls of the dice for some powder.
