I'm headed there today so as long as the snow is good on groomers early and softens up in the afternoons I'll be good

$25ish a day is not bad. Where are you renting from that is much cheaper? Larson's in Denver is $24 a day.

There’s supposed to be some snow come through in the 2nd week of February according to the latest forecasts

I'm going to get back to some forecasting here soon, as much as forecasting snow is going to kill me inside now that I'm in NOLA for the next few months.

Looks to me to be a passing shot (but a good one), but I was really thinking the pattern would turn more favorable than it looks to by mid month.

I was there Monday, it was pretty nice snow. Flakes were starting to fall when we left for the day, and it snowed decently in big cottonwood canyon until 2 pm Tuesday. So hopefully PC got some of that.

I hope things are better in the PC than they were in DV, that place was not in a good shape on Saturday, super firm and icy.

Need the ridge centered over the Gulf of Alaska to slide toward the Bering Sea. That would get the storm train going again.

I'm heading to PC in 2 weeks, so I'm hoping like hell the pattern breaks.

The ECMWF & GEFS are so far apart that god knows what'll happen. At least the usually more accurate ECMWF has it moving back to traditional La Nina patterns more quickly than the GEFS.

My bad. Got the other poster that was mentioning $71/ day and saw the $74 rental price he mentioned.

Luckily I am out of the rental days and fortunately/unfortunately have 3 pairs of skis

Things are starting to change but it looks like that damned ridge is going to be the last part to break. Ive been wanting to pull the trigger on the flip too quickly I think but that also leads me to the Euro solution of it being a little quicker.

I sure hope it is for your sake.

Great day in Breck. Snowed pretty much the entire day and then cleared out at quitting time. It was cold as shite though. 8° when we got there and 12° when we left. I was warm for the most part but my face got a little chapped because I hate something over my nose and mouth so I pull down my balaclava a lot. Upper Lehman was my favorite of the day. Not many people one it so the snow was good until the end of the day. I rode it at 3:30 and still lots of powder on the edges. But that run has so many fun features on the sides that I wanted to just ride it all day. Vail in the morning.

Breckenfridge. Some of the coldest and flattest terrain in the state. Always seems to have a sharp breeze.

Beautiful sunny day here in park City. Was about 7*F this morning but now eating lunch in the sun it's perfect. Snow is surprisingly good for not having any fresh snow recently. Will try for mcconkley and Jupiter lifts this afternoon

Vail today and holy shite did it not disappoint. Blue skies, perfect temps. Back bowls are some of the most fun riding I’ve ever done. So far, China bowl and big rock park in BSB are my lifetime highlights.
