Up at my family’s place in Dillon (near Brek and Keystone). Great snow today.

However, 2nd run of day… caught and edge. 2 hours at keystone hospital (great folks) torn ACL ??

34 years of skiing and this

Thanks man…snow is great so kids will have a great time if I can find ski buddy for them

But first crash in 34 years (skiing since I was 11…yeah old) I heard a “pop”.

I knew it was bad rights away.

Gonna be a blue-bird powder day in Breck, and Keystone later this morning. Can’t wait to hit the slopes. It’s dumping in Breck right now. Couldn’t ask for a better Christmas here.

Merry Christmas everyone; question for the more knowledgeable and experienced.

Since we are all brand new to skiing here were are slowly accumulating more and more gear and equipment and recently someone gave us a 148cm snowboard, bindings, with carrying bag and Burton boots for my daughter. An incredible gesture except my daughter has zero interest in snowboarding and would much rather ski. I told the person who gave them to us and his response was for us to hang on to it "just in case" or sell it and use the money for other gear we may need.

So, obviously eBay, Facebook Marketplace and other buy and sell groups would be a good option for the sale but how in the hell would I ship this thing? Could I just pop off the bindings and bring the board to UPS and ask them to box and ship it for me?

Living in South Louisiana we just don't get to ski as often as we'd like but we had fun yesterday. Going to hit it again tomorrow.

What about Telluride? Think that's where I want to try next.

Great base building too. Most of that snow was under the warm regime with the wetter snow. Now we get that lighter powder to build on top of it with the little storms in the coming days

Woke up to the lakes mostly frozen (and snow covered). Feels like winter.

Glad to hear PC is feasting today.

Telluride just announced they're closed today because of high winds. I'm going to walk over to the PC lifts in a bit. Visibility is bad right now .

It’s crazy that CB got 20 inches more than Aspen when they are separated by only 11 miles or so

Just got to Vail, driving snow in town now.

I-70 from Denver was slow and stopped at times took little over 2 hours.
