It was a good day at Copper. They didn’t get as much as other places but it felt like a ton considering how this season has been. Glades or runs with small trees have been the way to go. The lower double diamond bowl still didn’t have good overage despite all the runs under it were deep.

Traffic going up was a shitshow and I heard yesterday was worse. I’m going to punt tomorrow and head back out to WP on Sunday.

Think I'll finally make the trek up to mt baker tomorrow (3 hr drive each way). They're getting 9-13" today, 3-5" tonight, and another 3-5" tomorrow so I might as well go to the powder.

Gotta pick up my skis from the shop and find a pair of ski pants as mine ripped right in the crotch region last Sunday . No more cheap Chinese made crap

It’s beaucoup windy at WP. Most lifts are closed or on hold. 1hr long gondola lines. Atleast it’s sunny. Best day and worst day of the year in the same weekend.

I did see a bunch of baws in Saints gear and a chicken suits.

Same at steamboat. Wind shut down most lifts which funnels everyone to the few that are open.

We get into Steamboat tomorrow, how is lunch on the mountain being handled? We normally bring a sack lunch and eat at a table but I assume that’s not being allowed?

Arrived here in steamboat yesterday and the snow is aplenty.

I’m here all week and wearing a Burreaux jersey, come say hi.

Here now. Lunch options are everywhere. They converted a snowcat into a Taco truck... they call it the Taco Beast.

There are tables and chairs outside the tent at rendezvous, I didn’t pay much attention other than there and at the base.
Houston, seems I recall you like tomahawk, correct? I got to ski it once today before it was too much trouble to get back over there. I saw someone else in an LSU jersey, but it wasn’t a Burrow one. I’m pretty nondescript in an olive green jacket and black pants. I’ll keep an eye out.

Thank you both for answering my lunch question. Tomahawk is my 11 year olds favorite run anywhere so if you see a snowboarder following behind a little skier say Hello

Not sure if you are familiar with the picnic table on Broadway, but it’s got a great view and I noticed today it wasn’t roped off.

I’m so pumped. Park city has 292 trails open and snow forecasted almost everyday thru the 20th. Makes me excited even though I’ll be lucky to run a tenth of them. That’s a shitload of trails. Friday can’t get here soon enough.
