Tram to Rendezvous Bowl will be tasty with all the new snow but don't sleep on Casper Bowl. Well worth the 14 min gondola ride up Bridger.

Taking any and all suggestions on where to ski.
I'm pretty stoked. Trying to get someone to come in and cover my shift tomorrow so I can leave at like 5 instead of 9 tomorrow.

Just got back from mammoth...snow was incredible but there were waaaaay too many people there. Lift lines were unbearable, especially because they couldn't open some of the upper lifts.
Going to heavenly for Presidents' Day weekend and hoping it's not as miserably crowded, but I doubt it.

If it's your first trip to Jackson take advantage of its great lift served terrain. You seem to be a reasonably strong skier judging from your previous posts. I'd personally take the tram up and spend my time exploring between the sublette and thunder chairs. The Alta chutes, hoops gap and paint brush are all terrific runs. You could spend several days exploring new lines on that side of the mountain. Another piece of advice is don't underestimate how early people line up for the tram on a powder day. The gondola runs later than the tram so you can squeeze in some late runs on that side of the mountain before everything shuts down. Enjoy your trip it's my favorite place to ski!

Me and some friends got a house in the boat for March 9-12. Looks to be ~8-10 of us coming in from the front range. We need to kick it and shred

Thanks for the advice. Definitely looking forward to getting up there and exploring. Complete opposite terrain compared to what I've been skiing this season at Steamboat.
I've had my eye on Sublette chair. Snow is stacking up so conditions should be nice. Hoping wind stays down and visibility isn't complete garbage.

Hell yeah. Where'd y'all snag a place?

Be sure to give us a report after your trip! I've never skied steamboat, would like to hear your comparison.

Approximate location appears to be Fish Creek Falls Rd and Mauna Kea Ln. I can't see exactly where it is via airbnb since my friend was the one who booked it. We wanted a house so we can bring a few dogs and party without getting bitched at for being too loud

Dude Jackson is getting absolutely hammered and it looks to be continuing. My buddy there just text me 74" in the last 4 days and peoples roofs are collapsing
Really wish the parents weren't coming in this week so I could join

Yeah. Hopefully I can make it to Jackson.
Once I get there, it should be epic.

Bout two hours outside Jackson holed up at some trucker gas station. Drive was a breeze until about an hour ago.
Snowing and blowing makes for slow going. Some of the hardest snow I've seen. Luckily most of it gets blown off the road, but man visibility sucked there for a second.
Gonna lay low and catch some sleep. I think it's supposed to calm down in a little bit. Hopefully can get back on the road after some shut eye.

frickkkkkkkk. I'm sitting about 70 miles from Jackson Hole waiting on a road to open since 4 am. Jackson Hole lost power at Teton Village from the storm last night and aren't even open this morning. Things aren't looking great on this trip so far.

Doesn't look like they are going to open today. Hopefully tomorrow, first chair should be awesome.

One can only hope. I'll be very salty if I don't get to ski this trip. Not that I'm missing much back in the Boat.
Pulled into glorious Daniel Junction, WY about 4 am. I am still sitting here...thank goodness I put my twin mattress in the back of my car.
So close. So far. So frustrating.

I don't know where you are headed in Jackson Hole, but I just saw this post on my Facebook from Jackson Hole Mountain Resort.
UPDATE: THE HOTEL AND SKI RESORT WILL BE CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE. GUESTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO MAKE ALTERNATIVE TRAVEL PLANS.
Due to a massive wind storm last night, a significant number of power poles along Highway 390 were blown down, causing Teton Village to lose power. This power outage is being addressed by Lower Valley Energy, but the significance of this damage will be impacting Teton Village for up to seven days.
Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) will not be operating until further notice. All events scheduled for this week and weekend will be canceled, specifically Skijoring and Special Olympics.
Safety is the first concern for JHMR visitors and staff, and JHMR is asking for only specific operational staff come to Teton Village today and request that no unnecessary travel to Teton Village is in effect until further notice.
With another weather system coming into the area tonight, there is a winter storm watch in effect for the higher elevations. Warming temperatures could result in possible flooding in the valley, making conditions challenging for many reasons.
JHMR is seriously enforcing no uphill travel this week and asks everyone to stay off the mountain. JHMR will be issuing refunds for all visitors, but at this time, we do not have a location to process those refunds. Updates on operations and incident information will be updated as they come in at www.jacksonhole.com/weather-snow-report.html
Teton Village Fire Department will be providing emergency services throughout this incident, and will be updating hotels and businesses as information comes in. The Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce and Jackson Hole Central Reservation will be assisting with lodging and travel options for displaced guests.

Earliest target open date is Monday for JHMR. Insane.

New update. Maybe it won't be 7 days.
"Due to severe windstorm there is no power in Teton Village. Our hotel and the resort is closed today and tomorrow, with no re-opening date set until we know when power will be back up. We will update as soon as we have more information. If you're planning to arrive at the hotel within the next two days we encourage you to make alternative travel plans."
