Today is going to be awesome, and tomorrow even better. Hit it hard bro

I'm back at the office today and the idea of taking tomorrow off sounds great, but there will be road closures with the amount of snow coming. May just hit RMNP backcountry this weekend once everything settles

My flight this morning from dallas got all the way to the Kansas/Oklahoma/Colorado border and turned around back to dallas, citing low visibility in eagle. Waiting in dfw for the next flight at 1:30pm in misery

Sucks. I had a feeling that would happen, meat of the storm is really just starting to arrive in CO and will be cranking on all cylinders throughout the night and into tomorrow. I agree with HippieTiger, you likely aren't making it here today.

I'm just hoping the interstate won't be closed for me tomorrow evening after work. Hopefully the worst of the storm will have moved out by then. Otherwise I'd just leave the house early Fri am.

Wish I could take tomorrow off. My only hope is if we get enough snow overnight for the office to call a snow day. Otherwise I'll be hunting for leftovers early Friday am

Yeah same here. Wolf creek was the tits but I paid $70 when I have two passes already and took a vacation day. Tomorrow will be as good as it gets around these parts

It's absolutely nuking in town. Probably 10" in my driveway. Stack baby stack!

In bad news, my edge and bindings are fubar on my Soul 7 skis. So time to buy a new set of everyday sticks.

Finally got a day off on a real big dump. Gonna be a day where I bring everything I might need for the whole day cause I'll be on the mountain for awhile.

If only Steamboat was a little steeper...

Just to post an update. 1:30pm flight to vail got cancelled, so decided to fly to denver. No available direct flights from dallas so booked a connection in phoenix, got here and now the plane has a 2 hr mechanical delay. All i wanted to do was ski tomorrow

Haven't read through the thread. But I'm looking to plan a trip to ski next month. Wife is coming and has never been before. So preference would be for an area with some "easier" slopes.

We aren't beholden to any specific location, but proximity to a Marriott property would be preferred.

Made it to denver after the 3 1/2 maintenance delay, then the roughly 2 hr 45 min shuttle bus with CME (highly recommend) and finally in vail. Fresh powder tomorrow will be a treat

Hell yeah man! Enjoy! Glad you made it.

It's gonna one for the ages here in the Boat. It is absolutely crushing on the snow stake webcam. We've reported 18.5 in the past 24 as of 3:45PM yesterday. Should be another foot overnight at the 5AM snow report.

Hi all. Looks like the dump train should continue for the next two weeks according to the GFS. No jinx!

Any on the board familiar with SW CO? We are taking a guys trip (30s to 50s) to Pagosa Springs next Fri-Wed and plan on hitting Wolf Creek. We will have transportation and time so is there any other resort we should ski while there? Also, any musts while staying in Pagosa Springs?

Thanks and hope everyone gets their fill. This storm cycle looks juicy.

Made it up after all yesterday. Our office closed at 230 and I said frick it, so I came up to our house while I still had some light to drive in, hoping our office would be closed today. Woke up to the offixe text at 530 saying we're closed today (fist pump #1), checked the snow reports (fist pump #2), we just talked it over and the 8 of us here at the house are goin to hit ABasin's fresh 16" today (fist pump #3). Gamble I took coming up yesterday afternoon couldn't have worked out better as I already had taken Friday/tomorrow off planning to come up tonight after work. Enjoy the fresh turns everyone, it's still coming down! I love powder storm skiing.

Ah yeah! A Basin with that much snow can't be beat! I had a 17" day there last March that is still a top 5 powder day.

Powder to the people!
