Where is a good place to try to sell some stereo speakers?

A change in my housing is going to cause me let go of some of my best speakers.
They'd be a pain to ship, but obviously that's a possibility.
Where's the best place to list them to sell locally (Baton Rouge area)?

What type of speakers are they?

One pair of JM Lab 936 which wouldn't be easily shipped and
One pair of JM Lab 906
Edit: They are not 936's as I typed, they are actually 926. My apologies.

Yeah, those are nice. Do you still have original boxes? I'd try audiogon.com and specify local pickup. You may find someone local or someone willing to drive.
You may also want to mention it in the audiophile thread on the music board. One of the guys there may know someone looking to take them off of your hands.

Ahh, good ideas.
I still have the boxes, although they're in my attic. Guess I need to get them down to check their condition.

Man if I wouldn’t be into some shite right now I’d be taking a look into those. Get with Marco on the music Board. He is a focal guy.

I would think the 936 would be in the $1500-1800 range (I believe they were $6000 when new 15 years ago.

My apologies. They are 926's and 906's.
Typo on my part that I realized when reading Marco's post.
I will edit the previous post.

The 926 were $4200 when new...should fetch $1600 or abouts that today.
It is a fantastic speaker with weight and the ability to play loud and heavy and never run out of room (never breaks up).
I ran a pair for a little while connected to a pair of McIntosh MC 501 mono blocs (500w) and these things friggin jammed!...they go down deep as well.
This speaker at $1600 is better than any speaker you could buy at the likes of BestBuy or similar stores...a steal at $1600 (what they normally sell for on AudioGon). They are built in France and JM Lab/Focal makes every part from cabinets to crossovers to drivers in House.
If anyone is considering a big upgrade in floorstanders and the OP is willing to sell at that price, you won’t regret it...jump on it.
OP...post a pic of them...
