I have the original Google mesh system and its starting to be a little cantankerous and its probably time to replace it.

What specifically is happening that is making you want to replace it?

That said, I generally follow RTings for these kind of recommendations.

Which to get? It kind of depends on your wants/needs and how much you're willing to spend.

We have 3 Decos with the master in the middle of the house and the other 2 at each end of the house.
Delivers great wifi throughout our home.

I have a Deco 6e system but only use the 6e for backhaul. Routinely get 700mb DL on my cellphone when connected to a satellite 40ft away from main router. Highly recommend.

I have eero pro 6E and have no complaints. My house is 4,000 sq feet and I have 3 units. My lot is150’x150’ and I get good coverage anywhere in my yard.

So we'll start getting sluggish speeds. Like 300. 100. The sometimes in the 1mb speeds. I'll restart the mesh system and we're back to 800mb. It's probably 8-10 years old at this point.

There may be a firmware/software update for your particular router.

I do think it's probably worth it to upgrade for the improved compatibility/capability, but it's worth a shot to check your router's settings.

Sometimes, it's something as simple as that to get things running smoothly again.

No but I pay for 300mb and get 300 everywhere under roof and into the yard. Further out into the yard around the property lines I get around 100-150mb
