Doing the free trial with Hulu now. Does what I need.
Many people may not be aware of this service:

Haven’t tried it yet, but will likely sign up to a package soon. My internet guy said you can watch movies that aren’t at the theater yet... not sure on the channels, but says 2000+.

I’ve been using beast for a couple of months and it’s legit. 15 bucks a month.

Do you use a vpn with beast?

bayoubengaltv.us? Has movies that aren't at theater yet and 2000+ channels?
Something seems, off.

I don’t but you can. I will turn on the VPN if it buffers, but it’s pretty stable. 4 connections, 2 IPs, 15 bucks.

I purchased a one month subscription to beast last night. It's awesome.
My question is about billing. Do I have to renew each month or is it auto renew?

You can set it up to auto renew or pay it each month. I paid for 6 months at a time. Saved a few bucks, not that it matters at that price.

quote:I'm interested in your thoughts on this. We're considering cutting the cord when we move (meaning getting rid of DirecTV) and looking for viable options. I watch sports, History Channel, Discovery, ESPN, and NatGeo. The Mrs. watches Bravo, HGTV, and TLC.

AFtigerFan, just be careful if you like watching anything on SECN+, such as LSU baseball games. Unless you pay for ESPN through some sort of provider, such as DirecTV, Hulu Live TV, Youtube TV, etc. you will not get SECN+. I have a premium IPTV and I pay for ESPN+,so even though I get all of the ESPN channels, I can't get SECN+.

Install Mobdro apk on your smart tv for free for free cable
Install the cat mouse apk for free movies
Or install Exodus apk live tv for 5.99 a month and it covers 5 rooms
All are simple installments

I get every channel you’ve mentioned plus an infinite amount more. I am a sports and history guy and my spirts section will make you blush. Not only do I have SEC and SEC+, but I also have pac-12, big-10, ACC, longhorn, CBS sports, NBC sports, every fox sports, every ESPN, etc. I get literally every sporting event that’s broadcasted.

Also invest in a Nvidia Shield to put everything on because you want the top of the line!
If you have a fire stick it's like a Ford Taurus on the car line with Nvidia Shield being a Tesla

Definitely run the shield pro. You are paying a bit more for equipment, but you are saving a ton on TV, and the quality of said equipment is far superior.

Can someone tell me a list of streaming services that stream in DD 5.1?
I had at&t TV since day 1 when it was drtv now.
They pissed me off and the account got screwed up and canceled. I was "grandfathered" in and was currently paying 65 for go big + hbo.
They will not let me have that package back and want to charge 85 or 125 is I didn't decide to reactivate it right now...fuk them.
I listen to everything via my 9.1 HT system so it has to be in 5.1 or im not interested. Anyone have a list like that?

The shield pro converts to 5.1. I run a 5.1 sonos system and have no problems.

If you are a serious audiophile, it may not be to your liking, but it’s a 15 dollar experiment to potentially save thousands.

I run it through my Denon receiver so it can convert 2.0 to a semi surround but it just doesn’t sound as good as when it starts out as a 5.1 (obviously). It’s not a huge issue I guess since most “movies” I watch I stream from a source that has them in 5.1. I’m just trying to see who has what.

If the stream is 5.1, the Nvidia will be 5.1. The shield is legit. I would pair it with something like beast and realdebrid.

I'm running a Plex server off my Mac Mini to all my tvs. Two Sony 4K HDR 10/ Dolby Vision and TCL 6 series which is HDR 10 DV. They all have Firestick 4ks and one has a firestick 4k and xbox one s.
I'm trying to talk myself into getting a Nvidia Shield TV Pro to play around with. I know it's a better machine but what other benefits are there? I run Plex, Youtube TV, Beast IP TV and most other streaming apps.
