Great day today as I found my wife has a burner phone. It’s an Alcatel A502Dl by TCL, services by tracfone. Does anyone know away I can access the pin and passcode to see what this is about?

Can I purchase the same phone and install this phone SIM card? Would that pull over the data?

Update: addressed it with her the next day. She was furious I found it, threatened to call cops if I didn’t give it back. She filed for divorce the same day. 11 years together, 3 amazing kids.

LINK

Reset your pattern (Android 4.4 or lower only)
After you've tried to unlock your device multiple times, you'll see "Forgot pattern." Tap Forgot pattern.
Enter the Google Account username and password you previously added to your device.
Reset your screen lock. Learn how to set a screen lock.

What can I do if I forgot the pin code, pattern, or password to my lock screen?
If you have locked yourself out of your device or if you can't remember unlock PIN, pattern, or password, there are options available to unlock your device using your Google account.

Unlock your device using Google Account:

If you previously set up a Google/Gmail account on the phone, you can use it to unlock the device. Please follow the steps below to unlock the phone:

Enter the wrong pin / pattern / password five times.
Select "Forgot Pattern" in the bottom right corner of the screen. Note: You must be connected to the network.
Type your Gmail account username and password, and select "Sign in."
Unlock your device using Android Device Manager (ADM):

The following method only applies to devices that have Android Device Manager enabled.

On a computer or other mobile device, visit: LINK .
Sign in using your Google login details that is set for the locked device.
In the Android Device Manager interface, select the device you need to unlock (if it isn't already selected).
Select "Lock."
In the window that appears, enter a temporary password.
Select "Lock" again.
If it was successful, you should see a confirmation below the box with the buttons "Ring", "Lock," and "Erase." On your phone, you should now see a password field in which you can enter the temporary password.
Enter the password to unlock your phone.
Please access the phone's lock screen settings and disable the temporary password.

Looks like you need access to a Google account.

If that's not her primary, you need to come up with an elaborate story on why you need her account credentials. Maybe it's on her phone in an App or something. Maybe it's on a computer?

Id imagine if she has a burner, she has a gmail account that he doesnt know about either.

OP, Id talk to a lawyer and a PI or you can just confront her or just leave it out in visible area and see what she does with it.

White people problems

FWIW, I have three burner phones, and my gf has never asked to get into them. They're all flip phones, because they are actually burner phones.

If I was just trying to get away with cheating and had a phone, I wouldn't mind if it was fancy. Also, there are apps that make it look like her friends and family are texting, when it really is her boo. Plenty of ways cheaters can cheat using their regular phone

Why don't you ask her instead of trying to break into her phone?

because she could come up with a bullshite reason that's reasonable, which combined with his love might be enough to overcome his doubt.
Might as well know for sure first, if at all possible.

MMDD of her birthday
Birthday backwards

If none of those three work... use a screwdriver or other object to frick up the pins inside the charging port so it won't charge anymore.

Then observe closely. And wait for it.

"Gotta run to Walmart, need anything?"

"Yeah, actually I'll go with you, I need a few things" [she'll be annoyed but trying to act normal. She may even say "but I'm going by the salon too" to throw you off, you say "drop me off at Home Depot while you go to the salon" or something to that effect]

Then you get to Walmart, start walking straight to the cell phone counter, get up there, and say "I've been thinking about getting another phone [for whatever reason]."

Then observe.

Start talking about the different models, this one is cool, oh this one is cheap, etc"

Observe.

Then say look, if we get two phones, we get this discount.

Observe.

Then report back to us, please.

Man this was intense. That update is brutal.

Probably should have waited till you weren’t so emotional. Would have also given you more time to try different pin codes.

Time to get a PI and a good female lawyer, because she was fooling around. You need to cover your arse now
