If you pay to use twitter you will have no issues.

Sounds like Elon is doing the same thing that Reddit did to limit AI neural network scraping.

Does everything on reddit have to be viewed with the app now? I overheard a neighbor complaining he can't view pics on there anymore and the app is terrible

Depends on how you mean it. If you access Reddit via desktop, nothing has really changed. If you access Reddit via a smartphone app, it’s now probably dead. Reddit changed its policy to start charging a significant amount of money to third party apps to access Reddit’s data. Apollo, my app of choice, would have had to pay Reddit $20MM per year just for data access. That’s economically not feasible. So, as of July 1, most third party Reddit apps have shut down, as they can no longer actually access Reddit (technically the API, but that’s more technical than we need to get into). The first party Reddit smartphone app is obviously still up, but it is objectively terrible. That’s likely what your friend is talking about.
There are a few third party apps that are exempted (for now), but no one really expects that to last, as it requires the app to not be monetized in any way beyond donations. I just migrated to Dystopia for Reddit, and it’s alright, but a far cry from Apollo.
In short, bad sad.

No. I still use the mobile website in my browser and it works fine.

Randomly about a year ago my Reddit chat won’t appear when I click on it. Desktop or app.
Tried different browsers, cookies, delete app, nothing worked

Boost has been my go-to 3rd party Reddit app and appears to still be working. Might want to give it a shot.
