I’m done forking out an arm and a leg for cable. I’ve looked at all the TV stream services and think PlayStation Vue offers the best package for what I like.

What is anyone’s experience with Vue? What speed Internet will I need? What is the live sport experience? Any help is appreciated.

We have it, it's great. Never had a problem with watching games and the dvr is awesome if you have kids and can't watch stuff when it airs

Switched from cox over 6 months ago. Saving 90 a month. Love it and wished I had switched sooner.

I have SlingTV but I've used Vue also. You should have at least 10-15 Mb internet at a minimum. Faster if you'll have multiple streams and other connected devices. The picture on live sports is fine. Just be aware that there is about a 15 second delay so stay off of Twitter during the game.

We haven't had traditional cable for a few years and I honestly don't miss it at all. Screw those 2 year contracts and having to haggle over price when they renew.

Had PSVue then switched to sling orange + blue. Much more satisfied with sling. The channel navigation on Vue is awkward. Sling has a traditional 'cable' style TV guide.

Switched a few months back and like it. I don't watch tons of stuff on the networks, but it fills the need when just wanting to flip channels.

Just make sure your internet is fast enough.

Could be paying the same or cheaper with Directv, but they wanted me to sign a two year for their "customer loyalty" discount.

Ok that must be new then. It didn't have that earlier in the year (at least on Roku)

Also double check Vue's access to Viacom networks.

Have Vue and have no regrets cutting cable. Depending on where you live you may get 3 local channels (CBS, NBC, FOX). On the PS4, vue channel line up is awkward. But on my Roku it is set up like the normal guide on the cable box.

I had it recently and the Vue app still sucks on Roku.

Vue is great, works excellent with Amazon FireTV (box not stick). The cable companies in my area have a 1TB limit, which you can hit if you’re streaming all day long, but on a normal viewing schedule we’re usually about half of that. If you have kids watching on multiple devices all day long, you may have to pay more to upgrade to unlimited data, so factor that in.

Its worth switching for sure, I live in a camper so psvue is my best option. I plan on keeping it when I move back into a house.

What issues do you have with it on the stick? I had major issues with DirecTV Now on my firestick, but switched to Vue and it's been great.

I had it on a stick before I got the fire TV box. The only thing different was scrolling through the guide and selecting the show was slower. Once the channel started playing, it was fine.

What about local channels? I know BR area has CBS, but no ABC, NBC, and Fox. How do y’all get the locals?

Antenna. You get on demand of the national shows from the other network channels on vue. You also can't record CBS on vue, but at least you can pause and rewind as it's live then it's on demand later
