Does anyone else that uses YouTube TV have an issues watching sports on a TV and it constantly freezes up? It’s to the point it’s almost unwatchable and it doesn’t happen on any other programs. I’m using a 6 year old Samsung TV and have reinstalled the app, TV software is current, rebooted router, and have searched online with no luck.

I started having issues getting my YouTube TV app to open on my Apple TV yesterday. Restarted and reinstalled couple times and finally got it working……. Somewhat. Every channel was freezing up.

Yea, it’s frustrating with football season so close. It only does it on sporting events. I think it might be my TV but I really don’t want to spend $1k on a new one. I might have to signup for Sling and see if it does the same thing.

If you are streaming using the apps that are internal to a 6 y/o smart TV, you might want to consider switching to a Firestick or a Roku device. Myself I use the Firestick with an OTG cable and a 64 gb thumbdrive to increase the storage capacity of the Firestick.

Get the new one with Wifi6. Works wonders.

I have cable so that doesn’t happen but I do have to freeze when texting people. If I text about a touchdown as it happens I spoiled it for everyone about to see it in 30 seconds.

This is true when I watch a game on Fubo, and when I had YouTube TV. However, if the game is on ESPN's networks, including the SEC network, I stream using the ESPN App and I stay 30-60 seconds ahead of my friends on cable. I enjoy the payback because they always spoil the good stuff when I have to stream on Fubo.

No issues. Been watching football all day. Some on the Roku in the living room, and currently watching the Vandy/Hawaii game on YTTV on my PC.
