Anyone on here have any firsthand experience with Sonance? If so, what do you think of it?

I was originally planning to go with Sonos, but the company I’m working with used to sell Sonos and doesn’t really recommend it anymore — mainly because of the app problems. They’re big on Sonance now instead. Could be better margins for them too ... the little research that I have done indicates they are more of a premium item.

I heard a Sonance setup in a home at a normal listening volume and thought it sounded really good. The install also looked super clean and low-profile.

I’ve got 10 or so Sonos speakers and some Sonance wired outdoor speakers hooked up to a Sonos amp.

Have had that set up for 6+ years and never really had an issue playing sound throughout the house. The app is pretty solid these days.

I have both. My sonance amp for the whole home speakers randomly goes in and out.

Since they fixed the app issues, Sonos has been flawless (once again) for me. It was touch and go there for awhile though.

I have four Sonamce in-wall speakers — two surround sides and two surround backs in a 7.2.4 setup. Sound crisp to me, no complaints. I have them hooked to an Emotiva 7-ch amp via a Marantz 7015 receiver. Would recommend Sonance.
