Anyone have a favorite smartwatch other than Apple's? I've been a traditionalist when it comes to watches but finally got on board with timex's metropolitan s.
I have a small wrist and limited budget so it really was the only option for me.
Do you prefer leather bands, silicone or nylon/fabric? Why? In regards to it being a EDC.

Only experience I have is with my Galaxy Watch 3. It came with a leather band but I swapped it out with a metal band. Just not a fan of leather or silicon. My only gripe (and it could be my specific watch) is the bluetooth distance. My wife has a Galaxy Active 2 that she put a silicone band on. Ahe has had no issues with it nor does she have issues with the bluetooth distance. She honestly uses it more than her phone for voice texting and emails.

I like the iphone but absolutely hate the apple perioherals…was on second apple watch until i gave it to my kid when i got a garmin fenix…love the garmin

I like my Galaxy Watch 5 a lot, great battery life.
I've used Barton's Watch Bands since the Active 2.

I love my forerunner 245.im rough on it OT and garmin has sent me 2 replacements without even asking.

Garmin Venu 2 wearer here. I prefer the silicon band because it doesn't absorb sweat and I can take it in the shower to rinse it off when needed.

and have a drawer of failed smartwatches dating back to the kickstarter black&white watch. here is what i'm rocking these days. i gave up on all the smartwatch nonsense. it was a never-ending hassle.
i couldn't be happier. My dad had an Omega when I was growing up and always wanted one.

Really like my Fitbit Versa 3. The bands are pretty comfortable as well.

I'd love the Tag Smart watch, but I'm not paying 2k for something that'll be outdated in a year.

this is IMO of course but i am tired of my watch feeling like something my 8yo would wear.
when you're wearing a quality watch you just feel good.

I have a Ticwatch Pro 3 GPS that I've been satisfied with.
