$20 doesnt seem like a bad deal for 20 or so channels. Already have Chromecast and thinking of getting ROKU 3 also. Is adding Sling TV to the picture worth it, or just stick with the ROKU 3 and call it a day?

I have SlingTV and for me its the best thing. 25 a month and I get every espn channel, tbs, "amc" soon, and much more. Also, I can stream on my phone and get watchESPN.

I just got an antenna also. So i literally get every channel I want really for like 25 a month. I used the roku stick to stream SlingTV.

Sling TV is a content provider. Roku and Chromecast are just vehicles for displaying content on your TV. I know you can watch Sling TV on Roku, I'd assume you can also watch it on Chromecast.

I have Sling TV and like it ok for the sports package. If you already have cable tv (and plan to keep it) Sling TV will not give you anything you don't already have.

Stick with the Roku. There's also a sling channel for Roku. For the same price, I find USTVNOW much better than sling anyway.

I have a Roku, but then I got a Samsung Smart TV that had all the channels built in. Can I get Sling TV on a Samsung smart TV? I really haven't played with it much besides signing into Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon. I've got the Roku if needed, but I'd like to be able to watch ESPN etc.

If you have an iPhone, iPad or MacBook, Apple TV is the best.

Let's go ahead and throw Amazon fire/stick to the mix, access to all that plus Amazon prime videos.

It's Sling TV something I could stream on my Roku if I wanted to Subscribe?

If I didn't have Cable I'd subscribe in a heartbeat.

I just saw an article that said it was being added today along with IFC.

ETA: just confirmed on my sling subscription that AMC is indeed live.

Monthly Subscription Promo price of $19/month for the first 3 months and $29 thereafter

All Channel Plan with DVR (digital video recorder)
Monthly Subscription Promo price of $29/month for the first 3 months and $39 thereafter

You can cancel or switch plans at any time. Monthly plans automatically renew but you can cancel anytime in order not to be billed again when your current 30 day period has expired.

Channels included in USTVNow paid plans:

ABC, CBS, CW, FOX, NBC, PBS, My9, A&E, Animal Planet, Bravo, Cartoon Network, CNBC, CNN, Comedy Central, Discovery Channel, ESPN, FX, Fox News, History, Lifetime, National Geographic, Nickelodeon, Spike, Syfy, TBS, TNT, USA

Wife would need HGTV and I would need AMC. If those channels were in the listing, I would be in. Odd it shows AMC on the guide but not in that listing from the FAQ. Almost there.

I am wanting to drop Dish and get the sling tv or USTVNow. The only that is keeping me from doing so is the SEC network, and network +. Are you able to get these channels with Sling tv or the USTVNow?

according to this writeup, sling will have sec network in the extra sports pack ($5). also, it doesn't look like ustvnow has any of the extra espn's.

LINK

eta: it is in the sports package LINK

eta2: they have lots of deals on devices as well, not just the amazon ones LINK
