I'm a long time iPhone user but it is time to upgrade. Anyone switched from the iPhone to the Samsung? Is it worth it? More user friendly?

I switched from iphone to samsung a little while back. Once you get used to iphone things aren't quite as intuitive for samsung simply because it isn't what you are used to. Iphone is actually a lot simpler in general from what I can tell. Samsung isn't hard though, and there's a good bit more freedom.

In truth, I'm not convinced that there is a hell of a lot of difference in functionality. They're just a little different. It might be better to keep iphone if you have a bunch of other apple products and swich to samsung if you tend to have a bunch of windows/pc products.

I switched to the galaxy note 3 and love it. I find it to be more user friendly. Apple handcuffs their phones too much. Note 3 is the best phone I've ever had.

I would try it, but not to Samsung.

I'm trying to figure out what tablet to reply to replace my iPad. Every time I pick it up I'm annoyed by something made more cumbersome by Apple. FWIW, I am, to some extent, an Apple fan (multiple prior iPhones, prior iPads, present MBP user), but I just enjoy the ease of Android so much more these days.

The only downside is that Apple takes priority in apps, but I rarely notice a difference.

I'd check out the Nexus 9, if I was in the market. Latest version of Android and no crappy Samsung skin.

Unfortunately the hardware isn't getting great reviews. I'll probably get one, but not for 400-500 bucks. Given the "meh" reviews and the amount of competition, I won't be surprised if I can get it for considerably cheaper before long.

Hadn't seen any reviews. That's surprising. HTC usually puts out pretty legit hardware.

Don't scratch that itch, stay with the iPhone. Samsung is hot garbage.

Samsung is not the only Android manufacturer. Don't limit yourself to just that. In fact, I would say yes try the switch, and no samsung.

Not a big fan of Samsung, I had the s3 and was not impressed. Rocking the g3 now and I would never go back. It takes a little more setup time with android but you can get exactly what you want, without having to worry about apple software updates bricking the phone eventually.

I wish the new nexus would have stayed with samsung. The nexus 10 was a work of art. Still an outstanding tablet today.

I just switched from iPhone to an LG G3. It takes a little to get used to it. If you are using a Mac stay with an iPhone. I use a Mac at home and I had to change the way I do things but it was not that bad. I really like the G3
