I went ahead and returned the tv.
I have xbox one s and put on Batman V Superman in the blu ray ultra hd format and it looked amazing.
However, My internet service is capped at 18 MBPS at my house so I wont be able to stream 4k / HDR content ..
Couldnt really justify the 1500$ tv and only be able to watch true HDR by buying discs ..
This TV was badass , but didnt look much better streaming cable vs my current Vizio .
Hopefully this time next year OLED is a little more affordable , and i'll pull the trigger on one.
Enjoy !

If your company has an employee purchase program with Samsung you can get this TV for $1150 after tax. I really wish I needed a 65" right now

My company's EPP shows the price to be $1499? What am I doing wrong?

$1150 after tax is ridiculous low. You sure that's a 65KS8000?

Yeah it is. Isn't working for some reason now. Looks like a ton of people were able to get it for that low of a price.
I see that as the list price but when I add it to my cart it goes back to $1,400. Going to try and see if I can convince someone at Best Buy to price match.

Gotcha.
People are speculating on slick deals that if you opened one recently (like yesterday or today) they disabled you from getting that $1,079.99 pricing.
Sucks.

I'm not saying the price will go down on Sunday but check the price after Sunday

Also, there are significant Apps missing from Samsung's platform it appears. Watchespn, MaxGo, PBS, and a few others I watch a lot of. So adding some sort of Set-top box will likely be a necessity anyway. I was hoping to be able to get rid of the extra cords and just use the native apps built in to the Samsung platform
Should have gotten a Sony then.
Sony has Vue, Slingtv, WatchESPN, Kodi, Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, PBS, HBO, Showtime, etc. Not much it doesn't have.
