If you don't use much data, I doubt it'll get killed. We were consistently in the 400-500GB per month range.

So dead for anyone who hasn't signed up with AT&T already? Looks like ATT won't throttle when using a VPN. I still need faster speeds overall though.

Has anyone confirmed if you can still sign up for unlimited data plans with IMEI numbers through AT&T? I have some friends that are interested in this setup, but not sure if it is still possible (throttling down speeds wouldn't be an issue for them).

But I thought for this to work correctly, it has to be an IMEI number from an old IPAD? Or am I wrong there and any IMEI number will work to sign up through AT&T?

The postpaid plan works with any 4G LTE compatible device, iPad or Samsung tablet.

Is a nighthawk mobile hotspot a 4G LTE compatible device? Please pardon my ignorance. Been reading up on how AT&T has been discontinuing the $35/month unlimited plans without notice, trying to figure out what my game plan should be if that happens to my account. If they discontinue mine, I could just switch to this $20/month plan, even if I just had an IMEI from a IPad, not an IPad itself?

My Nighthawk router is now flashing orange light and says "mobile broadband disconnected." Was anyone able to fix their nighthawk router if it had an issue like this? My AT&T unlimited data account still appears active so they may not have officially cut me off, but looks like that this type of equipment won't be compatible anymore...

That usually means your account/SIM got zapped. Depends on your data plan and if you spoofed the IMEI on your nighthawk. Call ATT to confirm.

I think they finally got my two. My dads quit yesterday. And mine is still working but when I login it says account has been deactivated.Probably quit at the end of the billing cycle.
