Just saw this deal for $34 or 2 cameras for $66. Was thinking about grabbing 2 for my Lorex system so I can upgrade 2 of 3 cameras on front of house from 2MP to 5MP.

Thanks for the info. I said wth, and bought the 2-pack but they totaled $69 and change instead of $65.

Also ***Sale ends at midnight tonight***

I ordered x2 as well. I had a x2 camera blue iris server setup, but had been putting off adding more cams. Now it’s time to figure out where I want them and start pulling cat5 through the attic!

Have any gotten shipment confirm yet?

Don't hold your breath. I ordered 2 RLC-520 cams from Reolink on Dec 7. I got a "shipping notification" on the 8th, but no activity until 2 days ago. Looks like I may get it in a few days or right after Christmas.

I'm not.

I ordered a Zemismart automated curtain rail a few weeks ago and selected "US warehouse". When I got my tracking info it said, "GUANGZHOU, CN". Someone is geographically challenged.

They'll be here a month from now.

Same here...”processing”

I was checking their site out and it appears their devices are fairly priced. I was looking in particular at the 12mp camera and nvr that has the facial and license plate recognition.

If they want to stare at my boring #$$ driveway and cul-de-sac all day more power to them.

china could never do that as my cameras are firewalled off from accessing the internet. And soon to be VLAN'ed apart from the rest of my network except for my NVR.

also i'm with lonnie, IF they are able to hack them they will see my driveway.

I’ve got Reolink cameras and Blue Iris as well. I’ve never used Reolink client so I can’t speak to it, but I’ve been using Blue Iris for several years. If you want full control of your cameras and have a PC that will be on 24/7, it’s the way to go. To get the most out of it, there is a learning curve to getting the settings right. I usually don’t recommend this serial if you aren’t somewhat technically inclined. There is a lot of info on the internet to help with setup.

Thanks so much for the response and insight! I'll play with both to see what the deal is.

Blue Iris is great, especially paired with AITools.

When I started my setup, everyone recommended blue iris. I haven’t messed with reolinks desktop app.

I’d second the power of blue iris though.
