Question for those who ordered those syvlania RGB BR30 smart bulbs a few months ago

Are you having trouble with them?

i have 4.

one simply refuses to connect unless i turn the light on an off a couple of times (and its literally 8 feet away in perfect line-of-site of my hub) then it will work for a few days before going offline again.

then last night the 2 on the main porch stopped responding..no disconnect icon in the app, just don't work. i had to manually turn the lights off.

in short, i'm about to send these back if they don't work any better than this. at the moment 3 out of 4 have given me problems.

You run into more problems than anyone else on the internet. It's depressing.

Did you google? I was planning on buying their light strips but might have to reconsider.

Do you think they have the most recent firmware? Wink doesn't do a good job of pushing updates for Lightify.

Eta: I have a new Lightify Hub for cheap if you want it. Plenty of people use them to update the firmware then pair them back to Wink

I have 20 of these connected to wink and have no issues at all. Maybe the firmware is outdated?

Mc, how much do you want for that hub?

2 of the 4 were doing the rgb flashing thing last night when I turned them on and I attempted to re-pair them in the wink app and they both reconnected without having to delete them first.

Also I just yanked my tapts. I'm done. I'm not on Facebook so let me know if anyone on there wants them. I still have the boxes they came in.

I just replaced several dozen outlets switching out the old yellow/cracked units with new white 20a and probably 20 light switches.. Going with the big paddle units to match my smart switches.

It always annoyed me how big those tapt switches are.. It's a clown car to shove those back into the electrical box and the fact the white quirky used does not match the white of every other switch.

Big fail all around here on those switches.

Its a learning process but I've finally gotten comfortable with doing the work. 10 out of 10x I screw up the 3-way. I swear I can't get them right the first time no matter how careful I am.

Mc.. Installed and updated hub. Paired 2 of the rgbw lights, no firmware update available, can control them and turn them on and off but they won't work with the built in color scenes.

Will play with them more tomorrow.
