Question for Android users

You can be on a group text with iPhone users, but they'll just bitch and whine about texts being green and other shite that doesn't matter in the slightest.

The iphone users complain, but that also helps you to not get added to random group texts sometimes. You can spend the $1k savings on hookers and blow.

If you get annoyed with group texts get an android. It's the best repellent

The worst thing about Android is hearing iPhone users bitch about green bubbles. Aside from that, I don't have any issues with the operating system or bugs. I generally like being able to shop around different devices for features I want. Android has come a very long way from when it was a new and much less polished OS. It still offers quite a bit more flexibility than iOS.

Back to the messages thing, when you're in a group with iPhone users, messages get sent via SMS/MMS. It is my experience that Android phones (mine and other friends) can handle this pretty well...but iPhones do not. They always get messages out of order, or not at all.

As a workaround, my friend group has adopted using GroupMe for group messaging.

My advice? Buy a mid-tier Android device outright, no 2-year commitment and see if you like the OS, then when you're sure you do, upgrade to a flagship.

I've used a Nexus or Pixel for years. My wife has an iPhone and I hate using it. I guess it's what you are used to.
