Question about Hulu Live tv

Whenever I click to watch a live football game, it starts from the beginning by default. Then I have to fast forward at 32x to get to where it's live.
Any way to fix this?

It’s super annoying. I always go to a different channel, click “live” guide and click on the game and the like “watch live”.

Interesting. It does indeed seem to make a difference which part of the menu you’re in when you click on a game to watch it. I don’t like it, but at least now I know. I’ll have to deal with it. Thanks!

I’d do something instead of Hulu Live. I’ve had too many issues with it

I like HULU live - for the price you get the most sports channels for CFB season....every other streaming service splits the channels and milks you for more. I did Hulu live last season and again this season w/ no complaints.

It kills me how often it has streaming issues with live sports. I’ll be watching football and the stream goes out with an error code. I can switch to anything else and it’ll work fine though

I haven't had that experience but can see how that would change your opinion for sure. It's been a smooth experience. Like I said, I can get ESPN, 2, 3, ESPNU, SEC and all the major networks in one package - that's why it's a good fit for me. I subscribe for the season and cancel in January.

When you set it up did you choose college football as one of your "Favorites?"
When I first got Hulu Live I selected Alabama and Saints football and it automatically recorded every game they played. When I would watch the games live it would always take me back to the beginning of the broadcast.
I removed them from my favorites and that hasn't happened since.

I don't have that problem. Always asks if I want to watch live. Maybe you're clicking from home and not the live tab.

That's the only reason I still have it. Price and college football keep me subscribed.
The interface is horrible, it only "suggests" the most liberal crap that I have never came close to watching and it starts at the beginning 50% of the time I click on "watch live"

Whatever you do, don't buy a Nvidia Shield and try to stream Hulu Live. It's terrible and enough for me to begin the process of researching other providers to start after my 30 days is up.

Is it the frames per second? I had issues with a Mi Box and Hulu TV where all of their sports were capped at 30 fps. Hulu wouldn't recognize the problem and instead blamed my ISP. Hulu could do 60 fps in my Fire TV, so I know they were full of shite.

Have you (or anyone else) tried Vidgo? I may give it a try. For $45 a month, it has all the channels I need for college football + NFL Network. The only channels missing are CBS Sports Network. It's also missing the locals, but I don't care since I can get those OTA.
I may give their trial a run this weekend. If the picture quality isn't good, I can just use their log-in credentials to use the ESPN app and Fox Now app.

Vidgo?

I get 480p maybe when streaming Hulu Live, all the stuff in the library is fine. Looks like they didn't ever update the app for the Shield. It's unwatchable and I am forced now to use the app on my TV which is awful and caused me to buy the Shield. Shame nothing can be easy...

Rather than another thread, I'll ask another Hulu question here...
Is there an aftermarket remote out there that allows one button access to the previous channel you were watching? I miss this feature.
I've had Hulu for a few months now. I've not had a single complaint till recently when football is starting back up. My initial question, and now this one, are my only "complaints" so far.
