I think I paid $25. I don't generally do much channel surfing in the bedroom either so I thought it would be sufficient and it is for the most part. Just when you move from the living room to the bedroom and you're used to the smooth FireTV it makes you realize how slow the stick is. First world problems. My 50" outdoor tv has roku built in so the stick is useless out there. More first world problems

Yeah I wasn't a fan of the Fire stick at all. You don't have a PS4?

nah. FireTV in the living room. First Stick and Apple TV in the bedroom. Roku on the patio tv. 2 Chromecast paperweights.

They were $70. I couldn't help myself and bought a spare.

Audio issues with new fire TV update, only fix seems to be too mess with the display settings on the FireTV. However it breaks sometimes when I change channels

One bad thing about Vue is they roll out updates too soon. They weren't prepared for this or the ROKU roll out.

I updated my Vue app and am not having any issues with the audio and video being out of sync.

Even after you change the channel? How are you verifying the 60 fps after switching channels?
Posted on 7/21/16 at 5:43 pm to LSUsmartass
I've watched many different channels and they all seem fine. I went to the settings on Fire Tv and set the video to 1080p and 60hz. I've since went back and looked and it still shows the same settings.

Go to a channel that has a scrolling ticker at the bottom like espn or fox news...if it's slow and/or choppy you're still at 30 fps...the 60hz number =/= 60 fps

Def having the lip sync issues. It's awful.

In case you didn't know, restart the app and it should clear everything up
Yes, you have to do this every time you change the channel

I'm pretty positive the ESPN feeds are straight from WatchESPN, so the delay is similar. It didn't really impact me during basketball because I'm really mainly a football fan. The delay with regards to group chats and twitter.

Yeah streaming sucks in that regard.
I have to always let people know I'm about an out behind

Weird thing, is one of my TVs wasn't having the issue. One is just a 1080p Vizio. No issues. Vizio 4k TV, was having issues.
I even tried manually setting the resolution and frame rate. No dice. Both are on the 4k Gen FireTv.
I'm sure an update will be out soon enough. Not gonna sweat it.
