Doesn't matter really if you have Cox, at least here in BR and the surrounding areas, they have really soft limits...meaning they do not charge for overages or throttle you

Yea didnt even know it was high like that...trying to figure out why tho. Would me looking at my cameras while at work eat it up like that?

Thought that too but I read that cox used to have a 700gb cap now it is in fact 2000 gb. 3500mb would be like 3.5gb....so its right.

Thanks, that's what I was hoping. Two TV's in the house plus cell phones and my son's ipad. We don't really binge watch anything. TV on in the evenings during the week and a few movies during the weekend if we have nothing to do.

Going to officially cut the cord on Saturday. Returning all of Cox's stuff and going buy two Amazon Fire TV units (only need one but my wife refuses to use the PS4 controller as the tv remote ), and two HDTV antennas. We figured that we will probably save about $40 a month by doing this.

Get Vue for 7 days before you do anything, IMO.

The service is great, but their defense for account sharing makes it a pain in the arse for a portion of people trying to sign up for it.

If you can muster up the courage to spend $300 on a remote, the Harmony Elite is legit.

I broke down and bought one because we had become so spoiled to using one remote in the living room with our old harmony.

Had to upgrade because we needed Bluetooth capability.

It was more for the other folks that use my tv in the house, but I have to admit, I like it a lot too.
ETA: it controls the PS4 like a champ, and i like much better than the PS4 universal remote. Only pain is you have to turn the PS4 with the actual controller or manually.

So now do Houston customers have to pay more, or do they have the option to pay more for the locals?

Unfortunately Houston (and other cities with locals being added) will be getting $10 added to their monthly bill

Any idea when New Orleans might be getting local channels?

No doubt, As soon as I spend the money on HDTV antennas.

Was thinking the same, but the antenna will be a good back up plan if your internet goes down.

This seems like an extremely rapid rollout of locals no?

Every day seems to be a new city added. Having all channels on one input will be nice, but I'll probably be watching football OTA because of the better picture quality.

It's still not a bad idea to have an OTA antenna. The quality will be better and it's a sure thing. I'm more than glad I have mine set up.

I just moved into a high rise apt complex. Is OTA antenna even a possibility?
