Anyone with a late November ship date have anything change? Specifically, anyone that had their original order cancelled by Google hear anything yet? I haven't heard a thing nor has anyone on XDA.

Here's hoping someone can help me out ...
Both of my daughters have an iPad. No cell phone, simply WiFi iPad. They both have an Apple e-mail address (one has @me.com and the other has @icloud.com).
When I had my iPhone 6 Plus, we could text each other, providing they were connected to WiFi.
Now that I have Pixel, I have their contact information stored in my phone (again, their e-mail addresses). How can I send them a text message? Because if I am not mistaken, everything that I am sending them now is being converted into an e-mail message through Messenger.
Right? Wrong? Thoughts?

Same here. The assistant is very good. I just asked her "How'd Ohio State do?" and she reported today's OSU-Northwestern score.

yes mine came form Verizon they are unlocked even though i have service with verizon, they still made me aware of that when i purchased it. Also no verizon bloatware installed on it either

same here i came from a note 7. The pixel has been a fantastic phone so far. Very impressed with performance and cell reception is killer. keep in mind i am basing this on having used Samsung products the past 3-4 years. That google assistant is great, very impressed with how flawless the phone operates

Allo is simply an MMS messaging app. Like groupme. It doesn't reinvent the wheel but it does have google assistant built in and it's superior to groupme in some ways. In some ways it is not though.
No calendar events, cant search gifs within the app (i dont believe at least), cant access allo from a computer, no like button, doesn't keep a album of all posted pictures from a chat, etc.

that includes sms? I can't really answer which is best because i haven't used them all. But i use textra and it works well.

Just ordered my Pixel 5" 128GB from Google. My brother needs a newer phone so I won't be trading my N6 in, so Verizon is not worth it anymore. Plus he's an iPhone user being converted to Android, so win/win

Is anyone who has received their Pixel already not rocking a case with it? I have a clear spiegen case but really don't want to use a case. Has anyone gone naked with it and how has it held up?

Nope, too scurred. Mine went into a case as soon as I got the sim card installed. Thinking about a case for my case.

Haha I just hate cases. The phones look so good and I hate covering them up and putting basically plastic bubble wrap on them.

FINALLY DELIVERED!!! JESUS. Haven't gotten home from work yet to open it. Its been so long and such a frick up with my order on launch day, the excitement has worn off. I'm actually already looking forward to next year when the real google phone drops. It will be a game changer.
