I am not unhappy with my 6, but lately it has seemed to do some odd things. Early reviews of this one seem positive and it's not expensive. Anyone plan on getting this one?

I talk with Steve Meve about this regularly. I don't see any reason I need to upgrade from my 6. The battery still lasts me almost all day. No slowing of use.

I'm not a power user, though.

Who is this and why do you speak with him about this regularly?

if you like the 6 but have the new phone itch, just do a factory reset on the 6 and keep it. it will feel like a brand new phone again.

Same. We're at least waiting until 10 or 10a.

Never done this before. What's the process after you do that? Is everything backed up?

i upgraded my oneplus8t to a 10plus pro and honestly, there's almost no difference other than the quality of video & pics.

the only reason i upgraded at all is because Teams and Outlook stopped working on my phone and MIS thought it was a hardware issue..and i can't handle not having access to work apps on my phone.

crazy how much we go mobile; i tried lugging the laptop around but it was constantly dying so i bought the phone as insurance..but by the time it came in my old one was fixed but i moved phones anyway.

cad;dr phones these days are good for 3 or more years..the heady days of wild innovations from one phone version to the next are mostly behind us.

you'll lose a ton of app passwords and i'm not sure how you get everything back; when going between phones there's generally a smooth transition but a factory reset may have you hunting for your apps again.

I'm upgrading from my 5a. Google sent me a $100 discount code and gave me a $125 trade in estimate on my 5a. My 5a stopped getting updates a while ago so I had to upgrade.

Passwords are backed up to Google password manager by default but bit Warden is a better solution.

thought mine were but for some reason a ton of apps had me log in again.

I'm using Microsoft authenticator now for everything.

Just ordered a 9a to replace my 3a. The 3a was great, but starting to struggle a lot.

I have a Pixel 6 with 128G of storage. I still like it, but I struggle not being able to upgrade the storage. I am considering upgrading to another in newer Pixel with 512GB of storage. Not sure which model to get. One downfall is I am sure that T-Mobile will increase my monthly plan cost.

All the apps are independent, but if you save your passwords with chrome, you just have to sign into that account and it will have all your login information saved (The chrome login/PW will work on apps).

All of your contacts/cloud data should be already saved to your account(s), so once you login you should automatically have access.

What is natively saved on your phone exclusively?
