About to pull the trigger on one of these phones. Which one should I go with. TIA

Any reason not to wait for the 3?

Initially there were lots of complaints about the P2 XL's screen, but I think those issues have been resolved. So it comes down to your screen size preference. The XL's 6" screen is too big for my taste. I have the standard Pixel 2. The phone is outstanding, and the camera is excellent. However the 5.0" screen is too small for me. I also have a OnePlus 3, and its 5.5" screen is the perfect size for me. So while the P2 is amazing, if the Pixel 3 has a 5.5" screen, I'll probably upgrade to it.
I believe the P2 and P2 XL are functionally the same, so it would be best if you could get ahold of both and see how they handle and fit your hand.

My Nexus 6p is crapping out. Battery turns off between 30-40%

If u can wait, wait for the 3. If not, if you don't mind a big phone, 2xl, 2 is a smaller phone.

I loved my 6P. Google gave me a free pixel 1XL when my battery started doing that about a year and a half ago.

Love my Pixel 2XL. Incredible battery life and camera. The waterproof feature is well worth the sacrifice of a headphone jack.

You can have water resistance with a headphone jack.

I have been noticing that I will lose LTE service sometimes in places that my S7 would not. After googling, it seems to be a common issue. But overall I like it.

Had the same issue. Google gave me a free XL upgrade

Fair enough. I replace the battery on my S6 but it struggles to keep up. Supposes it's time for a new one and the Pixel 3 seems to be in my future. At this point, I just want a good battery and no bloatware

As I said earlier in this thread, my xl just does not get good reception at all. I'm thinking the antennas are weak or defective on these devices. Are any of you guys having problems. On Verizon btw.

I got a little bit better reception on my Samsung S7 than I get on my Pixel 2, but I don't find myself dropping from LTE to 3G. I'm on Sprint.

I'm not dropping calls, but weak signal inside of buildings and going from LTE to 3g to no signal.

I have the XL and my next phone will be a regular sized Pixel. It's just too big and I don't watch movies and shite on it.

I really like my xl. I just don't like this signal issue.

Interstate battery on college dr can sell you a replacement for it. The place is reasonable.
