You can recommend me high end, inexpensive, hell...are there TV's specifically designed for outdoor use?
While we're at it, any examples of wall mounts for TV's you guys can point to? Or even better...can I get away with not pulling cable by installing a high quality HD Tuner and a streaming stick of some type? Suggestions for covering or caring?
Any info is appreciated as always...

Just get a regular tv and put it outside. I have two outside that have been there for 3 or 4 years without any issues. (2 50", $400 or so.....Emerson/Sanyo). I have a cable box on one. The other has a direct coax cable (abc, cbs, fox in HD) and an Apple TV to it. Picture is fine in HD. Not the greatest for reg channels.......get a mount from Amazon/eBay. Way cheaper and they are pretty much universal. I prefer to be able to change the direction of tv with the mount.

If your wifi is close you will be fine. I recently bought a unifi extender and I am extremely happy with it. (Amazon $80)

Where would you be mounting the TV ? Above the outdoor fire place ? On the side of the cabana ? Or just in the corner of a covered patio ?

Details such as this or pics would help if you want a good answer

On the exterior wall of my home away from the wind and weather. I would want it to be as high as possible. It will be under a 3" insulated patio.
ETA: Patio sits in a 90 degree angle created by the rear of Home. One wall is solid with no windows leading to master BR. The other is the rear of the living room that has large side by side windows. Would want to mount the TV on the solid wall as high as possible.

As others have said, I would buy a regular LCD/LED tv instead of an "outdoor" tv. Most of the outdoor tvs cost at least 4-5 what a regular tv will cost. Id rather replace it every 5 years or so personally
I've always used Monoprice for tv mounts. Their pricing and quality are hard to beat (although shipping costs can be relatively high)
To best protect your tv and improve visibility, I'd probably corner mount it based on your description of the area. The link below has mounts that would work for this:

I just put a cheapo walmart tv mounted under our back patio. It's safe from the sun, wind, rain etc. Got a cheap rainproof tv cover off Amazon and it keeps it protected well also.

Pick the size you want and buy the cheapest TV at WalMart. Seriously. Outdoor TVs will probably last a few years depending on proximity to weather.
Do not buy an "outdoor tv" as those are expensive as hell.

TCL brand 50" 4k Roku TV is $399 at Costco. Just hung one up on my patio last Sunday and it has a great picture and sound.

Even though the outdoor TVs are badass I would go the cheap TV route for this application. Buy it somewhere like Costco where you can return it whenever. I'd hang on to the box.

Swing by your local pawn shop and get one for $125.

Get the cheapest one you can find. I have a dynex outside that I was sure that was going to fail. Still running 3 years later.
Haven't covered it at all and it has withstood all the rain you will ever see! It made it through the Great Flood in Central!
