Outdoor TVs in Freezing Weather

Do y'all bring outdoor TVs in when the temps get low? How cold is too cold?

Nope. I quit putting the cover on years ago also.

I’ve got one I bought at Costco on my patio here in KC where it gets pretty damn cold. I put cover on but have left it off too. Never had an issue either way

No. If you're scared, leave it turned on.

i have had a cheap 55" walmart screen on my back deck for 15 years. It's under a covered patio, so it doesn't get wet. Otherwise it's fully exposed to the weather.
1st one lasted almost 13 years (I don't remember exactly how many, but a lot). I replaced it with another cheap WM screen when the sound started getting spotty on it. Works fine after however many years its been up.
So to answer your question, no, I don't bring my outdoor TV in.
I refused to pay the prices they wanted for "outdoor TV's", and figured I would come out ahead over 20 years by purchasing the cheap WM screens.

No. And I live in a pretty cold place.

I've had a 65" TCL on my back porch for five years. It's survived snowmageddon (about 0 degrees on the thermometer) and other hard freezes (and stayed there in 113-degree weather, too). I've never had a problem.

No - I leave the TCL out there. Rain, sleet, snow, 110 temps. Has been fine.

4 years ago we had our deck demolished and a covered/screened deck put back. I stuck an old Samsung out there, and it was already about 12 years old, and lasted 3 years until the screen went out. I just stuck another old TV out there in its place, and it was even older when I put it out there. Still working fine. It is tucked away near a corner and doesn't get any moisture near it. Never worried about the temps. More concerned about all the pollen every spring, but I try to sweep or vacuum that away once a week when it starts dropping.

I have a 55 inch Black Friday $200 tv that’s going on 4 years no issues
The only thing I would recommend is keeping the remotes in a Ziploc or possibly covered
