Just read the reviews
You mean just read the description?
He said he wanted bluetooth/wifi speakers, not speakers you have to connect to a receiver.
I've been looking for some decent BT speakers as well. I don't want some battery powered crap b/c i'd like it to last all day, so i'll run wires for power, but i don't want to go to a reciever, and i simply want to play pandora through my phone through these speakers.
Havne't purchased these yet, but might take a chance on them.

You want something permanent or something portable?
Also, If I have to do speakers with a receiver that works with an Amazon Dot I'd be fine with it. I'm pretty good with most tech but I'm clueless with this stuff.
I have really only seen 2 brands that are selling outdoor powered bluetooth speakers. Pyle and Sound Appeal. I don't know much about Sound Appeal but Pyle is low quality.
Your best bet may be to buy some Polk, Klipsch, or Yamaha outdoor speakers and a cheap stereo plus an echo or a logitech bluetooth adapter.
Personally, I used my old stereo from college, and bought a logitech bluetooth adapter and the Klipsch AW-650s. (I probably should gone 525s because these things are massive)

Ok, so I think your suggestion is where I should go. I have an extra Echo and Dot already.
I remembered someone gave me a receiver a few months back. It's brand new.

Amazon reviews are terrible for it, but it should do all I need.
How about these for speakers?

or these? (Cheaper)

Next question...Should I setup the receiver inside somewhere and run wires outside to the speakers? Or, should I figure out somewhere outside to setup the receiver?

Both those Polks are good and almost what I went with before I found a deal on the Klipsch speakers. the 6's are just gonna have more bass. I'd put your stereo inside as opposed to outside for protection. Unfortunately, if you're hooking your echo up to it, you have to be within microphone distance to tell alexa what you want her to do. With the bluetooth adapter, you can control your music with your phone and your range is as far as the bluetooth adapter has.
This is the bluetooth adapter I got:

ETA: Yeah that stereo is nothing to write home about but it should be good enough to power those speakers.

Thanks! I appreciate the help. Could I use that Bluetooth adapter and gave my Echo Dot hooked up to have both options?
I pulled the trigger on the more expensive 6's.
With that cheap receiver that was given to me, I think I'll just keep my outside under my patio. If it crape out I'll buy something nice and keep it inside.
Thanks for the help!

Purchased these recently LINK
Installed them outside and they work great. I'd say the bluetooth distance isn't great not much more than 50' although i have some obstacles in the way, but all i do is run pandora through an old phone i have connected to my wifi and leave it plugged in in the house. They definitely get loud. If i put them all the way up i'm pretty sure my neighbors from 3 houses down could hear it very clearly.
