To be honest, I'd be surprised if they're sold out, at least for the 64 GB model. I ordered two fives at launch, and one of them came with a big scratch on it, so I took it to the apple store, and they were able to replace it instantly.

The 64gb will be their best selling model, they left the 32gb out for a reason ya know!

They hold back units just for exchanges so even if they say they are sold out there is a good chance the store still has some for situations like you had.

I'm on a family plan and was planning on using another members upgrade(swap). Which is an online feature, but for some reason, ATT won't acknowledge the swap.
Is there anything that could go wrong by simply selecting her phone number and upgrading her line. Are they just going to send her my phone and I can just sync up and be money? Or am I missing something?

Well, since Apple shite the bed in such epic fashion, I'm forced to trust AT&T's "we got your order...no confirmation info/email but just trust us" system

People are allowed to sell and transfer phones so I would say with 99% certainty you will be fine.

Well I got an email from Verizon. It said 10/07 on the website, but my email says 9/19. Hope the email is correct.
Finally got through on Apple.com, Apple isn't allowing grandfathered unlimited's to preorder. You have to go through Verizon or wait til 9/19 and try and get one in a store.

Somehow actually ordered 3 phones. I'm getting an extra Space Gray iPhone 6 plus 128gb. Will have to cancel that one. It let me upgrade my phone twice.

Woke up at 2am and could not get through on AT&T.com and apple was down the whole time so I said frick it and went to bed. Woke up at 5:30 and logged in to att.com with no wait, ordered the iPhone 6 and said it will be delivered on the 19th. Hope it doesn't get delayed since I'm probably lower on the priority list but glad it's over with.

Verizons website was a nightmare at 2 am. It wouldnt go through. I made myself quit at 305. Went back to bed. Woke up at 555 and it went through. 16gb gold 6 will be here by 9/19 for my wife's bday!

has anyone who ordered from AT&T Premier received a confirmation email yet? I ordered one for my wife just before 3AM CST. I see a $1 charge on my card, but have no email confirmation, and the order cannot be found when I try to pull up the status online. AT&T isn't open yet, and in the meantime Apple store ship times are getting longer and longer
