really curious how hbo handles the game of thrones premiere with all the new streaming devices. if its anything like true detective season finale, the internet will explode when their streaming devices cant buffer

I've kept my satellite subscription just in case this happens, I'm having my doubts that they can successfully steam this premiere. On another note, I downloaded tvmc and was wondering what addon usually has shows up pretty quick after they air? Any suggestions are welcome.

Genesis is an aggregate addon that pulls from many different host sites. If any one of those sites it searches has the show you want, it'll find it. Popular shows are sometimes loaded immediately after they air, or at most a day or two.

Mine ran perfectly, I only had trouble when I tried to watch Mad Men on AMC. The stream kept "catching up"

Alright guys, please pardon my lack of tech knowledge
But if I purchased a Roku 3, with a provider login, would I be able to watch SECN+ via the watch ESPN app on my TV? Will the watch ESPN app already be loaded on it? I know, stupid question. Thanks in advance for not teasing me

Anyone with HBO Now having trouble with a choppy feed? Able to run Sling, Netflix, etc with no issues...would like to attribute it to being a new service, but it hasn't improved over the last few days.

Yes.

No, but it takes about as long to find and download as an iPhone or android app.

Anyone use sportsdevil?
I just installed the add-on last night and tested out a few streams but I don't know which sources are the most dependable for American sports

may be called digitele sports now
also try Phoenix's live streams. I don't know what they have in the way of sports streams...probably a ton of foreign stuff...but the US>entertainment streams are pretty consistent.

where is the best place to download xbmc/Kodi these days? Also, I already have xbmc on my first stick but how do I get an xbmc icon in my apps section? Right now, I have to go to settings/apps/manage apps/ to launch xbmc. TIA

You cant get it to show up in the apps. bc its not supposed to be on your firestick
Also 1 channel is the best addon you can use.

You can add a KODI icon if you google the workaround
You basically have to download an app that allows you to create an "if this, than that" statement which will make KODI open when you click this ghost app
Here are instructions, but disclaimer: I used different instructions that were less simple than these but this should work

This could have already been discussed, but I'm too lazy to ready every post.
Can I cut the cord and still get football games? I NEED to watch college football on Saturdays and Saints games on Sundays.

All of your local channels (ABC,CBS,FOX, etc.) are available with the purchase of an antenna. And these are HD channels.
You run into problems when you can't get ESPN, SEC Network etc.

Sling TV will get you all the ESPNs for $25/month

Roamio is only $50.00 with $14.99 per month. Streamer is $129 no subscription. Why not just buy out right?
