Regardless of how similar to the iPhone 8 it is, a better performing iPhone 8 for $399 is a hell of a deal and will sell like crazy.

Apple now sells by far the cheapest phone with a flagship chip. Oh the irony.

4.7" screen would be hard to go back to, everything these days is 6"+.

I've been using my iPhone 8 for over a year and a half now, and I came from a 5.2 inch Moto G5 Plus phone.

Honestly, 4.7" is perfect and it fits in my pockets.

I looked into this today, but after rocking a 7+ for 3+ years I don’t know if I could go back to a smaller screen. I’m too used to the bigger size now.

Gotta admit it's cool they put in their A13 chip into their budget phone.

But I'll still go with the Pixel 4a once that's released.

I've never had an iPhone but the more i see this I'm thinking of switching. Just nervous to make the jump. Do i phones have as much clutter apps that come with other Android phones? It's like every company puts their own crap that's not really a necessity and can't delete them other than the Google phones or the essential phone that came out a few years ago.

Friend,

Walmart has the 64 SE2 for $199 for Verizon and ATT customers. $40 and $30 activation fees for Verizon and ATT, respectively. The 128 and 256 models are sold out. LINK

Xfinity also has it for 200
LINK

Probably have a limited number of these at $200 to get people talking about it. Hard to beat that price for a phone like that.

Yours,

They do have about 10 apple apps that someone switching from Android will likely not use. (Mail, safari, notes, photos, music, shortcuts, iMovie, iTunes u, clips, books, podcasts).

I just threw them all in a folder on my iPad so they don't clutter up the rest of the screen. Doubt they affect performance though the way Samsung, Moto, Verizon, etc apps do.

Can I permanently delete these apps?

The new SE does look tempting, strong specs and great price, after getting used to an iPad I think I am ready to make the jump with my phone.

It's a hell of a deal. I also love smaller form factor phones. I wish it was a more modern screen size and no bezel but same physical size. But at $400 can't expect much in the way of style.

I made the jump from Android to an iPhone 8 after being on Android for all of my smart phones.

Seamless transition. Obviously there are differences between Android and iOS, but its not as big of a deal as people make it out to be.

Biggest reason I jumped is that my entire family basically was on iOS, and it made it easier to communicate and share stuff with them.

As far as bloatware, I believe you can remove most (if not all) pre-installed iOS Apps.

I still can't believe they put the same chip from the 11 pro in this for that price.

This phone should sell incredibly well.

I have seen deals through wal-mart and at&t to get this for like $200 on a payment plan you can pay off early. I think it's eligible for upgrades, not even new service. IDK enough about it, but perhaps check slickdeals.

Here is a link to what I saw, but they are selling out fast.
