I just bought a new Apple tv 4 with kodi and provenance on it and love it. Best $158 I ever spent on eBay. I get watch espn, kodi with all movies and TV shows, and provenance with sega and nintendo games on it.

You didn't cut the cord though did you? How are you watching ESPN?

I don't understand why people keep saying stuff like this when you can get a subscription to WatchESPN through Sling

So someone basically set it up and you bought it on ebay? Live TV too?

Oh I wasn't aware you could put kodi on an apple tv. Looks like I'm ordering a new apple tv.

Someone hacked it and sold it on Ebay. Don't know if there are instructions out there.

Not a viable option for me. No DVR, no pause, constant downtime and buffering and bugs.

People just mooch off of others actual paying TV subscriptions. I'm starting to actually hate cord cutters more and more.

It's like TV welfare.

Yea there is a video on YouTube but it looks complicated to do for kodi and provenance.

For kodi: LINK

I don't want to do it myself. I just want to make sure it works. No glitches or issues so far? I might be getting one soon if so.

I got it Monday and so far so good haven't had any problems. I still kept my Amazon box with kodi just incase I had problems.

I still don't really understand Kodi... How do you have access to all movies? Do you have to download a torrent and then watch it through Kodi? How is it different than streaming a movie off one of those random websites? Can you watch live TV or do you have to wait for it to be uploaded?

I figured since they opened the new Apple TV up to apps someone would jailbreak it. May buy one now

with Sling you get a WatchESPN subscription. meaning you don't have to use Sling at all, you can just use the WatchESPN subscription. that means none of the constant downtime, none of the buffering, none of the bugs.

your comment about DVR and pause is irrelevant because I was responding to a post about you asking how someone could cut the cord and use WatchESPN. WatchESPN doesn't have that by its very nature, so you're shifting the goalposts here

My fault, didn't know you could do that with Sling and ESPN. My comment on the mooching cable wasn't directed at you, more the other guy specifically stating he uses someone else's account info.

That's mooching.

No idea where people are getting this from. I've had Sling for a month and have not had one buffering or image quality issue. I have a Roku 2 plugged into an Ethernet port. Streams in clear 1080 without one buffering problem. Been extremely happy with Sling.
