Currently have both. Really considering dropping Metroid since it seems every new release they put out is simultaneously available on prime.

Any reason to have both that I'm not thinking of?

i typically find much more i want to watch on netflix than prime. i look at the prime stuff as just a bonus to my prime membership.

also, i like a bunch of the netflix original content.

I'm dropping Netflix and keeping Prime. The last price hike put it over the edge for me. Also supplementing with Kodi, so that helps.

It's not that easy to drop Metroid. It's like once they have their teeth in you...

I pay $15/month for HBO Now and use it WAY less than Netflix.

HBO Now

is it just me or does the UI suck when you're trying to go back in and continue watching a series you've started?

i have to go through about 15 clicks to 'refind' the episode of "The Wire" i left it on.

What was the price hike for Netflix? A dollar more per month?

I just cancelled Netflix thanks to this thread. I still have Prime, and KODI on FTV. So the question begs, what do I do with the extra $120/year ?

I don't know how it is on different devices, but the Apple TV HBO Now app UI sucks from top to bottom. I don't think the Netflix UI is that great either, but is still light years better than HBO. With all video apps the first line options should always be "Continue Watching", 2nd line should be suggestions of new content based on what you've watched previously. Sometimes with Netflix "Continue watching" is buried 5-6 rows down.

If any of you leaches getting NetFlix shows off of Kodi are actual grown ups and not ramen eating college students you should be ashamed of yourself for not being willing to pay $10 a month directly to the producers of something you derive value from. At the very least you should subscribe one or 2 months a year to binge catch up. There is absolutely no reason for a grown arse man to steal NetFlix content.
