Just installed Starlink at my BIL house yesterday in south central Alabama. 250kbps down and been running rock solid since yesterday.

Another lurker here. Paid deposit last June or July. Originally said end of 2021. Then changed to March, but got it last Friday. Took about a week to get it. Really want to hook it up, but has to leave to go to Disney for a couple days. I just hooked it up today. Actually just used an old dish network mount that was still on my house. I currently use swyft connect cable. Lucky to get 10mbps. Starlink is blowing this away.

The last communication I received before this one also just said mid 2022. I was never given a specific date. Hopefully you’ll get yours soon. I’m a little concerned about my ability to have a truly unobstructed view as I’m smack in the middle of about twenty wooded acres, but worst case scenario I’ll attach it to the peak of my roof or break out the chainsaw while my wife is at work

Use the app to scan your potential mounting areas. If the app says no obstructions you can bet on there actually eing no obstructions. Its accurate.

You need the adapter. There is no connection on the Starlink router. I ordered the adapter on Feb 1st and the order just filled and prepping to ship. In the meantime, I setup a $70 router as a wireless bridge to connect to my existing system. This has worked great over the last month.

Thanks! I have an older version of one of those, I might give it a try until my ethernet adapter gets here. Hopefully won't have to wait too long on the adapter as Starlink says it should start shipping in mid March.

I signed up the same day that pre-orders could be made. My original date, like everyone else, was mid to late 2021. Then it changed to Mar-2022. I got my order confirmation in Feb.

I would assume that some "Mid 2022" dates are starting to ship. Mine was a mid 2022 estimate. not in LA though.

You guys get a firmware update last night? The only time I can figure the router reboots is with firmware updates. Mine rebooted at 1am for what I'm assuming is firmware but it about the only complaint I have about starlink is I wish they would go into more specifics concerning outages, ie network issues and reboots.
