Hooked up my Starlink this morning. Was getting 150 and higher.
Past few hours averaging below 20. Clear skies today.

Normal? Or should I start troubleshooting?

I would say give it a day and monitor it. If you still have low speeds tomorrow I would submit a ticket.

Don’t like reading this. We had snow the last few days and I just got mine installed about twenty minutes ago. I’ve been hovering around 170 so far.

To be more clear as I’m learning as I go.
The router to internet speed is above 150.
But my phone to router is less than 20 mbps.
I’ve taken others off the router. And I’ve tried splitting the signal. All iPhones on my network are doing this. Nothing changes.

Then don't sweat it. It's the byproduct of Wifi man. Order an ethernet adapter and wire your devices. Your starlink is working fine.

Yep, mine is blasting through my Unifi equipment.
Never use the ISP's wifi router

I'm late to the party but I have reach4 as well. Has been down right awful lately. Bumped my package up hoping that would alleviate some of the issues but nothing. Ordered Starlink roughly a week ago and was told our area (Acadia Parish) is at capacity and it may be late 2022 or early 2023 before I receive my hardware. We shall see.

My ethernet adapter shipped today! I can finally get off of wifi (even though I have had absolutely no problems with it)!

At those prices, I’m out. Cancelling my reservation.

It does not cost me any more to hang in there, but I will have to think about it before agreeing to a full order. I am hoping something else comes along instead.

Same....Kinda sucks but it's only 10 bucks a month which is nothing when I weigh Starlink against the alternative. I save way more than 10 bucks being able to cancel directv and stream what I watch so it isn't a big deal.

I'm wondering if we are subsidizing Starlink opening services in Ukraine. They sent this email out about 2 weeks after they announced starting services there.
Pretty peculiar timing.
I hate this train of thought though
quote:

but it's only 10 bucks a month

When does that end? When is another 10 buck a month to every company going to be the straw that breaks our backs? Its got to be coming. I'm not poor, but the cost of living is going through the roof with no end in site.

Dude I'm kinda torn about what they did in Ukraine. I get the humanitarian aspect of it, but you already have so many backorders and you just throw a ton of assets down at the drop of a hat. Also, ever since I have been researching Starlink the 100 dollar a month service was very much rumored to be increasing at some point. Its known that the amount of assets they have the 100 price point wasn't putting them in net positive. Like I said, for me 10 bucks is not gonna make me think about going back to 6mb internet but everyone has a threshold. I don't know what that price is for me yet. I would really like to see a ground station in Louisiana. We have some in Texas and one in Alabama but none in Ark, La, Miss. I'm hoping they use this extra money to add another one in one of these states.

I get it, I have in laws that are still using dial up type speeds on satelite out in the sticks in Mississippi.
I'd love to get them set up with this, and the price is good for them, I just foresee them $10/month-ing us to death.

Yeah, I’m in a similar situation where I am. Even at $110, it’s still far and away my best option. If they start bumping it up every 6 months I may have to reconsider.

Enjoy it. It’s a game changer. I ended up building a stand for mine that allowed me to put it on the peak of my roof without drilling into it. I’ve got 4% obstructions, but I haven’t really had any issues with losing service.
