I’m the least tech savvy human on earth. I’m hoping someone has an easy fix for me.

My wife got me an old N64 for Christmas so I could play Ken Griffey Jr Baseball.

I have 2 older TVs in the house that should be compatible. I plugged in the power cord and matched yellow, white red on the back of the TV. None of the inputs show the game. Any ideas? I just want to blast some homers with Larry Walker.

I'm not tech savvy either sorry I don't have a answer but I can't wait until Nintendo comes out with a n64 mini. They already came out with nes mini and snes mini so it's only a matter of time in a couple of years. When it does come out buy one and you can hack it to add all your favorite games on there and you will be able to play it in flat screen instead of old tvs. I have the nes mini and I played snes Ken Griffey jr winning run on it and I know it's not the same game you are talking about.

Faulty connection/cable would be my first shot.

My TV doesn't recognize inputs unless they're powered on.

I had the cheat code where he pointed to the fence and smashed a homer every time...made the game a little boring but hey I never lost a game!

Probably this. Could maybe try a replacement from the internet. Other thing I might check is whether or not the input you have it on is component, although I think you'd at least get audio in this situation so maybe not

I have no solution, but would just like the record to show that I think I can compete with anyone in the world at Griffey for SNES.

I went 145-17 and swept the playoffs with the braves.

Pro tip: put N. Deion ( Deion Sanders) at catcher and put him in the 2 hole behind Otis Nixon, started most games 2 on, nobody out. NBD.

Either the video cable is bad or the N64 requires repair. Any TV that has composite connectors (the yellow connector) should be compatible.

(Credentials: I'm a vintage video game AV nerd and have done N64 repairs and modifications to the video circuitry for people for money)

At best we killed each other twice, had that spawn pattern memorized along with a few other favorite levels. Was on top people before they even knew they were back alive. Grenade mode made it noob mode. Slappers only, no oddjob was always what it came back to.

Did you power in the N64

Are there other inputs on the tv. Maybe you plugged it to outputs? Idk without seeing it.

Do you have anything else to try you red white yellow

Are you using the cord that came with it

Try plugging in your cable box or something else via the yellow white red. All that matters for now is the yellow bc that’s video. The red and white are just audio I believe. See if you can get anything else to hook up
