I do mostly excel work but like my Apple Music. I would need a double monitor as well. I am thinking about the Mac all in one or the HP touch screen all in one. I understand that macs are “virus free”, but I’m not sure if I believe that. I see so many executives using a Mac these days and it makes me wonder if I’m missing something not using it. I have an iPhone and I like it it ok, but have always used a pc with computers. Thank you

They aren't virus free but I've never run an anti virus on a mac in 15 years.
Anyway if you have an iPhone get a Mac due to its easy and powerful integration with your iPhone.

I'd recommend the Mac but it depends how much excel work you have. I have a regular Macbook I do use for work often but if I have to get into excel with a large file that's formula heavy it can bog down a bit. Mine is also almost 3 years old at this point and runs like new with just about anything else. If $$ isn't a deal breaker I imagine the MacBook pros could handle that much better. But the new macbooks are great and very portable if you travel.

Ive never owned a Mac, but I know a few people who do a lot of excel work on one and they say their PCs were much more office friendly.

I’m a Mac user & agree with this. In my case, I learned and used excel on a Windows PC for many many years. When I switched to Mac, I was too lazy to relearn excel, which IS different. I currently use a MacBook Pro + VMWare Fusion running Windows for all my work applications.
FWIW, I bought my kids a Windows 10 touchscreen PC, but they still prefer to use my old 2009 MacBook Pro.

How often do you right-click in Excel?

If Excel is your most commonly used app, stick to Windows. I am a Mac user and love Macs but MS Office on Windows is more powerful. Mac Office does 95% of what Windows Office does, which is fine for most people, but if Excel is your thang I’d stick to Windows.

I would not do an All in one if you want dual monitors. Just buy two monitors and a small form factor desktop.

It's not hard to change your mouse settings on a Mac to be able to right-click instead of having to control+click.
