I have used all of the majors and few MVNOs at some point. For family the calculations changes a little, but Visible is still usually better with multiple single lines for basically truly everything.
Visible+ for $45 per line per month has the same priority per month as Verizon post paid. Meaning that first 50GB of data(which is a lot by itself) on regular 5g 4G LTE are the exact same service as postpaid Verizon on their towers. It gets better, if you are in a metro like NO with a lot a lot of 5GUW coverage that doesn't even count in that first 50GB. So theoretically you have unlimited Verizon service at that price.
Not to mention unlimited 10mbs hotspot which even Verizon doesn't offer, and all of the international stuff. And even if you somehow breach that 50G priority standard, you are not throttled just deprioritized which is still usually pretty fast.
Visible loses out with very little domestic roaming(which almost no one needs). It also has no stores and only chat for support.
Obviously, this plan wouldn't fit everyone, but Visible always discounts, and their $25 per month plan is almost as good also. Anyone else have a carrier that can may be better?

I switched to Mint from T-Mobile. I ended up going with unlimited data after 3 months (ETA: $30/mo), because I spend 8 hours a day in a place with no wifi, and I have to watch Liverpool midweek matches on LTE. Every plan out there seems to only offer discounts for multi-line, which I don't need. I haven't noticed any deprioritization related issues, but I haven't gone to the Rodeo, etc.
I don't find the lack of stores an issue at all. T-Mobile owes me $13.62, and has for six months. Having a store nearby was only effective in getting my address changed, I still get the same "we hate to see you go, we owe you $13.62" snail mail every month.

Crickets top unlimited 5G plus hotspot works same way but always on same priority as regular ATT but lower than ATT “Elite”. Probably because they’re the closest direct competitors to visible.
Not to say that standard priority is worth a ton. Still hard to get data at crowded events.
A lot of MVNO “limited” or “pay by the gig” are also higher priority but priority MVNO unlimited is very rare.

Verizon pre-paid unlimited for $30/mo

I’ve been with Visible for almost 4 years, and have their $25 plan. It’s solid. Previously, I was with Verizon. I don’t notice any difference between services or service plans.
Visible, to me, is the best MVNO provider by far.

Seconded, although I've only been with Visible for about four months (previously with Verizon). No change in quality and only $30/mo., which includes Apple Watch activation. I was paying almost $100/mo. with Verizon.

I use a $10 plan on Tello for my kids.

The $25 plan was so good that I stuck with it for like 3 years. I got tired of seeing new customers getting the $45 plan on promos for like $30 so I contacted them and they gave me the promo. Believe me the $25 plan is a lot better than anything out IMO. The $45 plan for $30 is untouchable.

New number? Were you able to keep your old number?

I use Xfinity Mobile. $47 a month for unlimited everything. Throttles at 20gb but for another $10, the threshold is raised to 30 gb

Not a bad deal, but depends on what you mean by throttle. If it's a hard throttle to something like less than 1 mbs that can almost become unusable. If it's just deprioritizion, that can basically go unnoticed.

Do Visible and Mint allow for calling over WiFi? I would assume that is the norm now but was just curious.

I ported my phone number to Visible from Verizon. Prior to Verizon, I was with AT&T, and long before that, I was with Sprint, Nextel and SunCom.

Visible does. I am not familiar with Mint and how they operate.

I started on Suncom, then it became Bellsouth Mobility then AT&T then after one of the hurricane's AT&T was bad in Lafayette I switched to Verizon and never looked back.
Now I'm looking around a bit but the current plan I am on has the Disney+/ESPN +/Hulu package permanently rolled into it(they offered that right when I was looking to upgrade my phones for the family) so I am hesitating a bit.
But we will likely push both kids off our plan soon so when we do we will be looking at what is available.
