Does anyone live here ?

Who is your ISP and what speed tier do you pay for?

I know they had fiber for a long time.

I have LUS fiber. I get 300 Mbps but as part of a package with TV and phone. Cost me $50/month for internet.

It's 88.95 A La Carte plus a dat package and installation but no one gets it that way.

They have a power streamer package @ 300Mbps that is 81.95 with unlimited data and installation included, power streamer plus @ 1Gbps is 104.95.

No, I don't work for them , just wanted to look at what they have now.

Edited to clarify $50 is for the internet portion only.

How is this even possible? So you are saying you get 300 Mbps + TV + phone for $50/month...that cant be right?

AT&T fiber here. I have no TV bundle. I pay 59.99 for 1G up/down and unlimited bandwidth, is bundled with home phone service (I know, but we use it a little). Regularly $80/per month.

I’m disappointed that none of you pay the $300 for LUS’s advertised 10gig bidirectional service to report on it.

I am disappointed in myself for not being able to provide feedback. I am going haze myself

Edit to add thanks OP for making me look at LUS. When I signed up the cheapest I could get 1x1 for was 171 with some shitty TV package. Promotion now is 104 for just internet and that's all I need.

The promotions are always changing with these providers.

When LUS first came out a long time ago, they had a 3-tier internet speed package. We bought in to the middle tier at 40 Mb speed, forget the price, but did phone and TV/cable and a fax line.

Re-worked our deal a few years ago when 1 Gb speed came out, cancelled our fax line, and are still very happy.

Last I looked, $78 was the charge for 1 Gb internet.......not our total LUS bill, which is a little over $230 per month, which includes TV/cable (your TV package may vary) and telephone (don't know how long we will continue with a land line).

I personally know only a handful of people online who have a NIC at home that can push that kind of bandwidth

LUS had awesome prices when they first debuted, and when no other provider was even willing to entertain fiber. They've not kept up though in recent years... now the old incumbents are starting to beat them out for speeds and pricing.

Not bad for 2 Gbps service.

$110 or more is what we were paying for Cox High Speed Internet at the old house for 150 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload with unlimited data addon. \

Right now we have AT&T Fiber for $40 a month for 1 Gbps down and up.

LUS Fiber and it screams. I will check on the specifics later and post, but its reasonably priced, very stabile and the money stays in town.
