3rd version of the iPhone correct? While the S2 would be the 2nd version, and strictly talking operating systems iOS was over a full version ahead in development at that time correct?
That is more important than the release dates.
I think you missed the point though, that's okay.

Yeah I've owned 4 Samsungs and they are all shite. I don't know why they are so popular.
I guess I could get the LGV20 but honestly I doubt it is better than Apple. I have never owned Apple but I see people with 5s's that still work just fine while my Samsung S5 was crashing and lagging after a month.

Just get an iPhone, it's not a big deal.
I had every single iPhone up to the 5 until switching to the Nexus series in which I have had every single Nexus.
I have never had a bad experience with a Nexus, never did with an iPhone either I simply got bored of the OS and switched and never went back or wanted to.
You're on a carrier and have to get one through them? Otherwise I would highly highly suggest you at least wait until Oct 6th when Google unveils their Pixel and Pixel XL replacing the Nexus line and see what you think. I think you will have to buy them directly from Google, not a carrier.
But it is the first phone where Google is going mainstream beyond a niche Nexus market and releasing an iPhone equivalent for the company.

I wasn't making a point. I was just correcting your statement. The S2 came out after the IPhone 4 was already released.
Release dates separated by 2 full years in a rapidly evolving smart phone market is a lifetime man. Especially in that time period

Bingo. Now you get my point.

That guy had a damn S2, the difference between that and a 2016 Android is

Google would actually be ideal but I know AT&T won't carry it so I would have to spend like 600 bucks all at once for a cell phone.

Yep, IF it is in fact only available through Google. May not be, all rumors until the 6th.
But yeah, leaked pricing has the Pixel XL at $649 unlocked.
AT&T did carry the Nexus 6 I believe, so there's always a chance.

It has to be. Would be a huge mistake on Google's part if they want this to be similar to what Microsoft is doing with it's surface line.

Has to what? Be available through carriers or the higher price like the other high end phones?
Agree with either.
I said 6th, mb.
Agree with either.

Through all carriers. Though I'm sure some will screw it up with bloat

Can't stand android.
Google Nexus series are great phones as well as LG and Samsung. The rest of the companies are hit or miss on android devices.
You likely can't stand it because either:
A) You just have never owned
or
B) You bought a shitty android brand

Samsung phones are loaded down with bloatware and their TouchWiz overlay sucks massive dicks. Nexus phones (to be Pixel in the near future) are much more stable and pure android. I have a nexus 6 and it's still good to go. A little slower in some apps, like snapchat, but overall it's still a great phone.

its also hilariously amusing, that whenever im out with a different girl, and i see her iphone, that she will get stock updates on the main screen. and then i ask her if she plays the stock market and she is like "no, omg, its just always on my phone i cant take it off"
Either she did or someone else loaded that up on her phone and it's super simple to turn off. Hell you can delete every app off the phone if you want.

I've got a BlackBerry Priv and once I figured it out, android wasn't so bad. OS isn't as good but it was still good.

my nexus 5x is such a great phone. and it's the cheaper of the two releases from last year.

For those that look into the products and I find what they want, I don't blame them. I think apple puts out a good product. I just think their marketing team did a fantastic job in making people think you have to have an iPhone whether you knew it or not.

I tried to switch from the iphone 5 to the Galaxy, but had to take it back a few weeks later.
All of the sudden I stopped getting texts - they were disappearing into a black hole. This seems to be a pretty widespread problem with people trying to switch.

Apple. According to AT&T, it is a problem on their end but they wouldn't do shite about it at the Apple store.

Investment in the Apple ecosystem.
